Im sorry but I just have to push back on this misinformation even if it is a joke.

The 5 million species is a strawman. God never told Noah to take two of each 'species' on the ark but two of each 'kind' onto the ark. It is thought that 'kind' is equivalent to our modern 'family' or 'order' of animals. So far less would be needed and it is entirely plausible that he could fit them all on the ark.

As for sloths, not only would they have been nothing like the sloth kinds we have today, since they hadnt had much time to diversify,  but the world was a much more uniform climate back then. It is thought that the earth was not on an axis but strait up and down, so seasons would not exist, but the climate would get cooler, not cold, towards the poles. Point being that most animal kinds would have been close by to the ark. On top of that we dont even know where the ark set sail from, only where it landed, on Mt. Ararat in eastern Turkey.

Sorry for my little nerd rant but the record needs to be set strait.

The mention of the earth axis tilt being straight up and down at the time of Noah is not correct.

The precession of the equinox was a known reality. in even more ancient times.
