Just because you see it on Gab, doesn't make it true, right?

The guy with the bullhorn doesn't seem to have a real military stance, shifting his weight side-to-side like that, but I've never been a guy in the military, so what do I know?  But this seems more "minute men" than U.S. Military to me.

Weigh in, please.

Can't find it anywhere else, but that would be something the lsm would try to hide I would think. But, can't hide this one for long. We will soon find out.

That does look like the Hawaii state flag.  But something just seems off.  😕

That flag goes back to around 1845; it was the Hawaiian kingdom, republic, and territorial flag before it was the state flag.

Most authorities agree that the Hawaiian kingdom was illegally overthrown by American-backed insurgent forces in 1893. That coup resulted in the declaration of the Republic of Hawaii that year. Five years later, Hawaiians voted to become a US territory. In 1959, again backed by Hawaiian voters, the territory became the 50th US state.

It is the (probably) illegal activities that resulted in the demise of the kingdom in 1893 that some folks have been unable to accept. The guy in your video clip is clearly one of these people. His claim, and the general holding among these folks, is that nothing has happened legally in Hawaii since the disposition of the kingdom in 1893, and that everything the US and the state and territorial governments have done with relation to Hawaii since that time is unlawful and should be overturned.

These folks want the pre-1893 Kingdom of Hawaii restored. One has to wonder just how much thought has been given to the consequences of such an upheaval. The guys in your video are civilian bozos with way too much time on their hands.

There was a similar movement -- though far less serious -- in Ohio some decades ago. It was "discovered" that there had been legal errors, something along the line of paperwork technicalities, that supposedly voided Ohio's traditional attainment of statehood. Specifically, it appeared that the US Congress had not properly approved Ohio's state constitution in 1803, and without that approval, Ohio was legally still a territory until the error was corrected.... which didn't happen until 1953! If the technicality ruled, Ohio would no longer be historically the 17th US state, but the 48th, last except for Alaska and Hawaii. God only knows what that might have meant in what has become the most litigious society in the history of mankind.

@TboneAgain

Thanks for the explanation.  It's puts the video into an entirely different light now.  I knew something just seemed "off" about the guy with the bullhorn.  His "stance" was anything but military.

But, given the way Hawaii is being run, I can certainly see the argument for martial law.   :bored:
