'Twould indeed not be the first brokered convention, or at the least a highly contested one. Ike vs Bob Taft, ( the country lost that one ) Goldwater vs Rockefeller( Scranton, and Romney ( the country lost that one ) Reagan vs Ford. Those are just within my lifetime.

It will not come to a brokered convention, though, as Trump is on his roll, and like Clinton, nothing sticks to him. The worst part- Clinton will be the next President regardless of whoever gets the PUB nomination. She may stink like an outhouse after an elephant's bout with diarrhea, but the DIMS figure they owe her one after Barry Sortero.   

The situation with a Trump or Hillary presidency is the SCOTUS. That's where we will get stiffed the most.

Congress will check Trump or Hillary with Obama out of the way but with replacing 3 or 4 SCOTUS that's mind blowing and is what i'm most concerned over with this election. That's why I was so confused by Rubio staying in past the SEC primaries.

Resign yourself to the fact either Trump, or most likely The Beast will make those nominations for SCOTUS. Short of a series of Borks being apllied to the candidates ( the PUBS will certainly not have the stomach, backbone, or cojones' to fight them ) we will have another all liberal  or mostly liberal SCOTUS in my lifetime.
