Go ahead and put it to a vote

I think the house should draft a gun bill that is as restrictive as any bill that might be drafted by the most gun hating lib.  Put it on the floor and let them vote.   Not sure many watched last night as Obama said that these gun restrictions are supported by the majority of the people in this country the Bing line on the bottom of the screen dropped deeply into the negative range.   I think getting all the Dem's on record for voting for destroying the 2nd amendment is exactly the thing that will get their butt bounced out of office at the next election.

Agree!

I hope the libs and Barry Boy keep pounding the gun grab drum all the way to the 14 election. Any hope of taking the house will definitely be lost and, it may put the senate in question for the donkeycrats.

Raptor, are you suggesting that the Feinstein bill will never see the light of day from Dinghy Harry? Should the House await the outcome of her bill? Even if the House passes a bill I still question if it would ever get a vote in the Senate. As much as the dems are talking about being in control of the Senate they still have to defend seven more seats in 2014 than the GOP. Also, several of these dem seats are in red states.

I am not sure what Dinghy Harry is going to do.  I think that there is a lot of pressure on him to present a bill so my guess is that he probably will.  Guess he will attach it to something else like funding for daycare centers or the WIC program.  I do not think that Senators are quit as scared to vote on this and the ones at risk probably can vote which ever way is best for their reelection.

I think the house is where I am sure that there are a lot of scared Dem's who are counting on a bill not coming up for a vote.  I would think a full blown, 2nd amendment killing, gun grabbing bill would be better than one that just bans large clips  or requires registration.  Toss in that any registration of a gun sale is public information too.   I think I would love to see the Dem squirm when faced with voting on a gun grabbing bill.

It would definitely be interesting to see.

I don't think the Dems want to vote on a gun bill in the senate when so many are up for reelection in 2014 and from what I have heard many of those states went to Romney in 2012.

I am pretty sure Landrieu (LA) and Pryor (AK) are two. I guarantee any anti-gun vote in those states is a retirement announcement.

Most of you think that an election would solve our problems or that a vote would seal the fate of guns.

I have zero tolerance for either due to recent events, mainly in Obamacare outcome and the last election.  In both events most conservatives thought that either of these events would turn out in our favor.  Some of you still think that any process coming from our government is on the up and up?  I've never been so dissatisfied with our government as I now am.  We've got to change our attitude and take a good long look at exactly what is transpiring before our eyes and make concerted efforts to overcome the evil in our land.  I don't have any answers for our comeback.  I only know that we are standing at the mouth of hell, Obunglar is booting us into hell and Biden and the rest of the liberal ghouls are hollering turn up the heat.

When people in Europe or the USA look to Pravda as a more honest and legitimate news source than our own, and people move to Russia for economic FREEDOM, I'd say it's time to start worrying. It does seem we're at the point of no return.
