Title: Kevin McCarthy and RINO Lindsey Graham Push Tim Scott for President
Post by: Solar on April 28, 2021, 10:36:23 PM
Can we finally get rid of these two RINO? :glare:
Talk about playing Russian roulette, with a fully loaded gun. These two leftists just signed their own death warrants. Remember their names...

GOP ELITES DROP TRUMP!

Weakling Kevin McCarthy, the House GOP leader who is afraid of Liz Cheney, and Senator Lindsey Graham spoke with Sean Hannity on Wednesday after Tim Scott's rebuttal to Joe Biden's speech.

McCarthy immediately pushed Tim Scott for US President following his 15-minute speech. Lindsey Graham urged FOX News viewers to go Tim Scott's website and donate to his campaign because he is getting attacked tonight.

And on Newsmax, Sean Spicer plugged Tim Scott as front-runner for the GOP nomination for president after his speech.
Wow!

It was a clear sign the GOP elites are moving on from President Trump.
That didn't take long.

I'm not getting my hopes up, soon as Trump holds another mega rally, they will be back on the bandwagon.

Having casually paid a little attention to Tim Scott from a distance ... did ANYONE ever consider him as Presidential material?   I donno...   Where has he EVER stood out as a leader?   What legislation has his fingerprints all over it?

Maybe Tim Scott is another GOP inspired RINO - someone like "?Jeb?" ... with a tan?  Sorry, I don't know anything about the guy, Miss Lindsey Graham's endorsement ... meh... boarders on being a "deal killer", IMO.   :glare: :sneaky:

He sold out to the RINO awhile back, and having these two Bozos endorse him exposes just what he is.

I *KNOW* he's a black man - which absolutely doesn't make any difference to me.
It's his politics which matter - which is kinda "sculptured for media & his public image."
-------------
But, this gave me pause - maybe we need to pay a little more attention to Tim Scott (as a SENATOR)
https://federalnewsnetwork.com/government-news/2021/03/trump-endorses-scs-tim-scott-in-2022-senate-reelection-bid/ (https://federalnewsnetwork.com/government-news/2021/03/trump-endorses-scs-tim-scott-in-2022-senate-reelection-bid/)

"Trump is fresh off his weekend appearance at CPAC, where he was hailed as a returning hero. In his speech, Trump called for GOP unity, even as he exacerbated intraparty divisions by attacking fellow Republicans and continuing to repeat false claims about winning the election.

"Do you miss me yet?" Trump said after taking the stage to music from his old campaign rally soundtrack and cheers from the supportive crowd.

Leading up to the the normally mundane congressional certification of President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory on Jan. 6, Scott was among the Senate Republicans who spoke out against Trump's statements that the Senate could have legally undone that process, saying he found "no constitutionally viable means" to do so.

Hours after the deadly U.S. Capitol assault that halted those certification proceedings, Scott proposed a commission aimed at studying the 2020 election, suggesting that some pandemic-related election changes resulted in "missteps – intentional or not" meriting further examination.

Of the proposal, Scott's fellow South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of Trump's closest congressional allies, called it a "uniquely bad idea to delay this election," affirming that Biden is the "legitimate president of the United States."

On Twitter, Graham said Tuesday he appreciated Trump "coming out early and strong in support of my good friend," calling Scott "one of the most talented people I have ever known."

Scott, however, took a more muted approach. Rather than commenting directly, his campaign thanked Trump on Twitter and later issued a statement saying Scott was "honored" by the endorsement, pointing to areas of policy where Scott and the former president align."

OK, that's easy enough, what HAS Tim Scott done to distinguish himself as potential Presidential material?  He's got a Senate race to WIN and WIN BIG he better, or it's probably wishful thinking on his part.

I know Tim Scott from our former professional connections. He is the real deal. What you see is what you get. From the time he was elected a county commissioner he has been an outspoken conservative. He won his last senate race decisively.

I think he might be the real deal too.   ticking off the Libs, hitting all the right points in this article.
Is the MSM *afraid* of Tim Scott & trying to paint him as a RINO or less than Conservative?

IMO, he's not afraid to touch the 3rd rail of politics, Social Security (privitazation) - that takes some guts!

67% isn't looking good, till I looked at the contrary votes to Conservative Review, I wouldn't take him on a Presidential ticket, but I'd let him prove himself as a Senator - FIRST.   IMO, some of those contrary votes (stimulus types), though they went against CR, he might have been gritting his teeth & swallowing hard to flip the lever the wrong way.  One more term... he needs to toughen up or get out.

What saith F. Lee Levin...?  Mark probably has a good handle on Tim Scott.

Conservative Review gives him a D 67%, his voting record is atrocious!

SC is an interesting state, I'm inclined to go with Supersalemgr's comment on Tim Scott - could a solid Conservative actually get elected as a representative/senator there?   I'd rather play-it-safe, let him prove himself - kinda like we did with Trump.

I get the point, Tim Scott's pandering - buuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttt (lol), if Scott is going to go anywhere, get any airtime, he's gonna have to have the $ to BUY IT, or, hit those damn buttons to get invitations to get on.  I don't think Tim Scott is Presidential material - but, he could become a lot better, with "help" - I'll keep an eye on him, regardless. ... just cut him a little more slack, IMO, he's either lacking good messaging - or - hate to say it, conviction.  I still say, let him prove himself - just keeping Trump's initial campaign in mind, he got a LOT of HELP from Hope Hicks, Kelly Ann Conway & Melania to get it "dialed in" - so, if Tim Scott got the same, meh...?

Milton Freidman did Ronald Reagan the huge economic policy "fine tuning" for his campaign (darn it, Solar, I'm trying!!!!), IMO, Tim Scott is just hanging out there & needs help, some settled convictions, polished messaging, I'm not ready to give up on him YET.

I supported John James (MI race), he was left "hanging" by the GOP - RINOs - deep state scum.   But, James was hitting the high notes with ease, McConnell might have been scared of his potential...?  I sincerely want to see Patriotic, Constitutional Conservative Veterans run & get elected to office, it maybe the key to our survival as a nation.

If Tim Scott has to pander, just to get on the political radar (cause he doesn't have the bucks) - well, you gotta start somewhere.

I wanted to like him early on, but he kept going along with RINO.

He supported this crap...

2020/12/22   So-called COVID relief bill and $1.4 trillion special interest spending
2020/12/11   Pass the National Defense Authorization Act without Section 230 reforms
2020/05/14   Require the government to obtain a warrant before using FISA courts to spy on Americans
2019/05/23   Pass a $19 billion spending bill without funding for the border crisis
2018/12/19   Release dangerous criminals from federal prisons
2018/12/11   Pass a $900 billion farm bill with socialist policies
2018/09/18   Pass a promise-breaking cromnibus before the election

It gets worse...

Yeah, I read ALL of it.  Concerned, ABSOLUTELY...  Tim Scott is better than Lindsey Graham by twice the CR score.

Lindsey Graham = 31% (an "F")
Tim Scott = 66% (a "D")

You're gonna hate me for saying this - "Who you gonna run in South Carolina, and keep it in the RED camp?"  If Lindsey Graham is virtually unbeatable on name recognition, then Tim Scott, who's *gaining* in name recognition is worth keeping around, and yeah... he's a RINO-lite, gonna give up some bad votes now and then.   Sigh...  it's a pickle, South Carolina... the state that gave us Nikki Haley.

https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-inconsequential-nikki-haley/ (https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-inconsequential-nikki-haley/)

"Her messaging confirms what many have long suspected: Nikki Haley is a human weathervane, trying to ingratiate herself to the boss (she knows Trump will remain a popular figure within Republican politics for years to come) while at the same time distancing herself from his most controversial actions. And, of course, it wouldn't be good, old-fashioned Washington gunslinging if she didn't pin the blame on somebody else. In this case, it was former secretary of state Rex Tillerson and former White House chief of staff John Kelly—portrayed by Haley as duplicitous snakes who sought to undermine the president behind his back.

Haley's penchant for tearing down her former coworkers is rivaled only by her sense of self-importance. By all indications, she truly believes she is on the right side of history, dutifully following the orders of the boss down to the last detail and standing up for what she believes is in the best interests of the American people. One can take serious issue with her glowing assessment of the Trump administration's foreign policy—its approach to Iran, for instance, has been a total and complete dumpster fire that nearly set the stage for a shooting war in the Persian Gulf last summer. Many will also have a difficult time disagreeing that Haley's tenure at the United Nations was a lackadaisical and ineffective affair. If there were any major concrete achievements during her nearly two years at the Security Council, they are very hard to pin down."

Haley sounded like she *had* potential - "the Human Weather Vane"  great description!
IMO, Graham needs to go - that leaves an open seat in SC - and I'm fearful it'll get a Dem Liberal-lite-sounding, far worse than Haley or Graham ever could be.  We need Scott, far more than either of them, and ... if Supersale (who lives there) is right about Scott being a "straight shooter" - he's an UPGRADE.

OK - go ahead, and say, "WHAT!?!? Why are you endorsing a RINO-lite, Pandering, *black* man??? for Senate", etc. - As a Senator, he can fine tune his message, get the wishy-washy votes "fixed"... I'm not ready to throw him under the bus... I think there's hope.  If he gains in grass roots support (and recognizes he's not representing the Swamp, but the people who elected him), Tim Scott might be more ...ah, ahem... *acceptable*...?

Back to the article on Haley - well written IMO - and sort of *mirrors* Tim Scott's rise, without the *fire* Haley's known for (like an electrical fire - Bang - Pop - what the hell was that??).

"But as she seeks to reenter politics and polishes her record, it is only fair to scrutinize her time as America's top diplomat at the world's most renowned multilateral organization. Haley may think Washington is "toxic," "political," and "trashy" now, but in a few years' time, none of us should be shocked to see the former governor hobnobbing with donors, sounding out consultants, and preparing for a presidential campaign of her own. Given the way she's operated over the last week, it would be more shocking if she decided to stay out of the political dogfight".

I don't want to see Tim Scott following a similar path as Haley has - but, you're probably correct - his pandering, a REAL concern, might be signaling he's not what we wanted to begin with.  "Ouch!" - am I getting soft...?  I'm not ready to give up on his Senatorial aspirations - Presidential hopes, absolutely NOT ready, don't trust him at all.

Tim Scott needs to PROVE himself in the Senate, not as a moderate, but a true Conservative - and it better not be modeled after Haley or Graham!  Maybe Thomas Sowell or someone like that could mentor him.... (that guy is really smart, read "Vision of the Anointed or Basic Economics").

-edit-  Where is Supersale...?  He needs to weigh in on this, it's HIS state.

I get it, you'll settle for RINO. I won't, ever again, it's that settling that got us where we are today. We either stand our ground and boot these scum, or we'll continue to compromise.
I think the problem is, you're basing your views on old data. Anyone can win any state, now that we've caught the cheaters.
There is never ever reason to settle, look at Loeffler, she is what happened when we settle and the 30% DNC cheat is added, you have a loss or RINO, but no gain.

We either stand our ground and elect Conservatives or nothing will change. We need to be electing the guy next door, the guy who doesn't give a fuck about power or kissing ass in DC, no, he won't go their on our dime because he hates commies as much as we do. The GOP RINO is as much the enemy as the Marxist, they only care about power for profit, it's time to end the cycle.
But nah, I don't hate yah for it, but you need to stop compromising at some point in time or we'll be electing another Nixon in the future, "Rinse and Repeat".

Scott may be a nice guy, but his voting record exposes sever compromise and lack of ethics, and comparing a pedophile to a serial killer for comparison, doesn't help your case all that much, I wouldn't want either living in my neighborhood, let alone Representing my district.

Who else is there...?   He's "our" RINO - I'm trying to view this from a practical angle, an upgrade from Graham.  I don't know if "electability" is being considered here, Scott .. is kinda mushy, IMO.

Here in Virginia, we got the Governor's race coming up, and we're gonna LOSE to Terry (clinton) McAuliffe again.  He's very charismatic, extremely partisan Marxist, a complete control freak, and worst of all, POWER DRIVEN, in short, he thinks he's "god".

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mcauliffe-opponents-struggle-to-break-through-in-virginia/ar-BB1gfOsc (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mcauliffe-opponents-struggle-to-break-through-in-virginia/ar-BB1gfOsc)
McAuliffe opponents struggle to break through in Virginia

"The three Black Democratic gubernatorial candidates — all current and former state elected officials with deep Virginia roots — are struggling to gain broad traction with voters. And despite entering the race more than a year in advance, none has topped 10 percent among voters, according to recent polling, or garnered enough name recognition to effectively challenge McAuliffe."

IMO - South Carolina has the same problem.  Name recognition, traction, who the hell is Tim Scott?
We don't have the media on our side, just ask any one to NAME a politician from SC - they *think* Miss Lindsey Graham, Nikki Haley ... and that black pandering dude, Tim Scott.  Name recognition is costing us seats, we've either got to come up with a better system to bypass the media - something that WORKS, or we'll forever be watching DEMOCRATS slither into office.

How the hell did Tim Scott ever get that Senate seat to begin with?  ...a reasonably articulate, black man, who's ... politics is hell.  nobody cares where this nation is going, until it effects them personally, and then they're placated with a $1400 check that'll cost their children $14,000 to pay off.  It SUCKS, I know it.  I'd rather take a small win in the right direction, Tim Scott as SENATOR, not President, the percentages moving in our direction.

OK, maybe that medication is effecting my brain   I still think Scott has potential in OUR camp.

Remember Shelby Steele?  What went wrong there?

I'm hoping this little speech by Tim Scott is his own "wake up call" to get firmly on the Consitutional Conservative camp, and not a huge YANK towards RINOism ... still gonna stand on my "wait and see" position, at least he's an upgrade - but, I hope Graham doesn't ruin him.

You're not getting it. The GOP forced him on the constituency, as if they have no other option, it's what these commies do, they literally kill off the good guys, then prop their guy up to look like a savior.
He's not! His appearance was planned long ago, giving him the rebuttal speech was all part of their plan.
You can't tell me there isn't another true patriot waiting in the wings, as the GOP suck the air out of the room headlining their RINO!

Th trick is not to fall for this shit "We have no options", that's what these RINO do, elect our guy, or you get a Dim. So what, we get stuck with a Dim, and the GOP will be held fully accountable!

You're right - and I get it.... and yes, I'm also fearful of a young guy like Tim Scott potentially turning worse - the GOP track record of losing people in the Swampiness of the DC is horrendous.

GOP & DEM - the blurry line between them is RINOism - I get that, hate that, wish it would change.
The Marxist Democrats are so good at messaging, and we SUCK at it.  That's one of the reasons we as a family have gotten *more* involved, instead of cursing the darkness.

To YOU and I, we see the problem, and agree.  Where we're really at odds, I'll take the 66% and work with him to get a 80% or 90% ... and he could grow some backbone, apply pressure .. take advantage of what name recognition he has, and hold that senate seat on the GOP side.... move on to another state/race.   I'm taking the practical approach, yes, it might be all we got in choices.

I know you get it, but unless we all stop settling, for the mediocre leftist, we're never going to steal the GOP for ourselves.

If or when these people ever went back to representing the American People & adhering to the Constitution as a first cause of holding office - we'd have something everyone would rejoice in.

South Carolinians need to open their eyes, get involved, and put up candidates who can replace Miss Lindsey Graham.

I'm hoping Graham & Scott are paying attention to Nikki Haley - how she touched the new 3rd rail of politics, Trump supporters, either you're on-board with his politics, or you're toast.  Don't care if you like his personality, it's his policy, America FRIST, Constitutional authority over judicial activism, less regulation, less taxes - why is that so clear & simple?

Personally, I don't expect Scott to ever get past his Senate seat... probably a good thing for the present, just replace Graham (and break his little camera whore's heart).

Trump refused to meet with her afterwards, Haley, the "Human Weather Vane" - I like that. :ttoung:

SSN is the 3rd rail, death to anyone who goes against it, like touching the electrified subway rail.
If you think, slamming Trump is gonna elevate you - surprise!  You'll be shocked, like Haley was.

Haley sounded great in audio at the UN - and then did... what?  crickets.

What's Tim Scott gonna do to "distinguish himself" - better not hear crickets, that's been my whole point, he's got one foot on both sites, he needs to choose a lane and stay there - learn from Nikki Haley's mistakes, stay away from Miss Lindsey Graham.

I think most people know RINO are poison, and in truth, it's all thanks to Trump. Sure, most of us knew decades ago what scum the GOP party was, but a huge amount of sheep had no clue they were in fact, the reason the Marxist DNC became the power they did.

It's all over, but sadly, we'll follow the law, so it will be a bit longer before we correct the issues and end the Marxist movement.
No, there won't be a civil war, we're already in the midst of a revolution, one that we, the majority are wining.

IMHO, I dont feel that we need to settle. Right now there are tons of people wanting to take back our country. Lets allow some no-name people no ones ever heard about from our side step up, people who have never been politicians before. I dont think we need to settle for anything less than a 95% conservative since there are so many available, just look at how many are on this site...any of us here could do a better job than any of the career politicians.

Yeah - you and Solar are really saying what needs to be understood, and repeated.

I wish politicians were SMART enough to realize this isn't a popularity contest, who looks the best in front of a camera - because when I hear them on the radio, they sound as stupid as the policies & positions.  Get them off script, and just a handful of them can carry on a coherent conversation.

Then we have Democrats and Deep State thugs hell-bent on destroying any outsider, scaring the hell out of good people who might not know the workings of DC, but sure would make fine Constitutional representatives.

Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio would not rule out a possible 2024 presidential run in a Monday interview.

"It's possible that at some point in the future, down the road, two, four, six, eight, 10 (years), I don't know when, that I will find myself in a position and want to pursue it, because I've done it in the past," Rubio said about a possible run, according to Punchbowl News. Fox News host Tucker Carlson broke the news Monday evening that corporate darling and pro-immigration GOP pollster Franks Luntz secretly rents out a room to Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) at a "fair market price."
Carlson reminded viewer's of Luntz' ties to left-wing corporations in Silicon Valley, and stated, "So Luntz is a personal friend of Kevin McCarthy's who's the top-ranking Republican in the House, that's what we said. Turns out we didn't the know the half of it."

"Over the weekend we got a call from a source who said that in fact, Frank Luntz and Kevin McCarthy are not simply friends, they're roommates," Carlson revealed. "Kevin McCarthy lives in Frank Luntz's apartment in downtown Washington. That's what we were told, and honestly we did not believe it. The top Republican in the House lives with a Google lobbyist? Come on, come on. Even by the sleazy and corrupt standards of politics in Washington, that did not seem possible, in fact it sounded like a joke."

Carlson's team then called McCarthy's spokeswoman to inquire about the story, and were surprised to receive an affirmative response.

The spokesperson admitted that "because of the pandemic, McCarthy has rented a room in Washington at a fair market price from Frank."

It gets even worse!!!

Kevin McCarthy's Luxury Rental Firm's Largest Shareholder Is Mao's Grandson.

Following revelations that corporate lobbyist and Biden family acolyte Frank Luntz rents a room to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, The National Pulse can reveal the Chinese Communist Party ties to the luxury building both men call home.

The downtown D.C. residence – which The National Pulse is choosing not to name for security reasons – is owned and leased by Sotheby's International Realty.

The company is an offshoot of the auction house Sotheby's, whose largest shareholder is Taikang, a Chinese Communist Party-linked life insurance company "run by the grandson-in-law of Chairman Mao Zedong." As The Wall Street Journal also notes, "most of the stakeholders are state-owned Chinese enterprises."

Sotheby's has also collaborated with the Chinese Communist Party on auction ventures.

In 2012, the company signed a 10-year joint-venture agreement to form Sotheby's Beijing Auction Co. Ltd., the first international auction house in China, alongside the state-owned Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group.

Rubio was one of the gang of eight, trying to get open borders at the time. A Soros connected group of RINO and Marxists, not really all that different, I know.

I ask what pisses you off more?
a.  McCain's is/have been, a powerful influence in Arizona, guiding that state towards Democrat-Socialism?
b.  Any MONEY you've ever given to the GOP ... has been squandered by GOP-RINOs like this.

I can't say, "but he was OUR slime ball..." - he doesn't even reach the level of RINO!
His wife, who enriched him, arrrrgggghhhhh!   how could those Arizonians be so damn stupid?

I know it sounds really stupid, to the point of overly simplistic, we need a TEST or OATH for future candidates, before they run for office.   If they break it.... hmmmm... we just execute them and appoint a successor (well, I'd feel happy with that, who wouldn't?)

Bring back Congressional Dueling!!!
