Here's an example of how John Kasich runs Ohio. He implements policies long before letting the public know what he plans to do.
In this case, he's merging two functions of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources: the divisions of watercraft and parks.
For the last several years, people who retired in the two divisions did not get replaced. The positions were left empty. Now it's announced that the two divisions are being merged.
Along with the merger is the elimination of some citizen oversight boards. Decisions will now be made by government diktat, without the sort of input now being received from boaters, fishermen, hunters, campers, etc.
Also, money collected from boat licenses and fuel tax will no longer be dedicated to boating activities, but may now be spent on parks.
Less oversight and more slush funds are what you get from John Kasich.
