QuotePresident Barack Obama said Tuesday that America "owes" it to certain illegal aliens to pass legislation providing a "pathway to citizenship."

"We owe it to America to do better," Obama said in the East Room of the White House. "We owe it to the Dreamers to do better."

Reality

We do not owe anybody anything.  If anyone wants to become who we are, US Citizens, then that individual owes us compliance with our immigration laws.  It's that simple.  No more legislation, no more political grandstanding, no more it's our fault BS.  The eunuch's in Congress and the White House need to be reminded that illegals and Congress's failure to enforce laws that are already on the books created this problem; that along with a border that leaks like a sieve.

The Stranger

My Gosh what do we OWE them anything but a one way ticket south! It's so damned obvious that this buffoon in the white house and his administration does not know the definition of ILLEGAL. It seems as though he promotes them instead of Jailing them.

Q PATRIOT!!!

We owe all the millions who went through the proper channels the knowledge that we appreciate what they endured to become legal citizens.  We also need to send a message that breaking the law doesn't pay off and will not be tolerated.

JustKari

So let me get this straight...we owe someone, who has broken the law to get something they want, exactly what they broke the law to get?  Isn't that the equivalent of giving a bank robber money for breaking into the bank?
