Every time they fill up their car, people will forget how much they dislike Romney, and realize that they despise Obama. The American public will forgive you for a lot of things, but not screwing with their automobiles. The majority of Americans live outside the central cities, in the suburbs and rural. It isn't a question of liking our cars, it's a question of needing our cars. All the elites, sitting on the coasts simply don't realize this. They think food, for example, magically transports itself to the super market. The don't notice that all the fresh produce in their farmers markets was driven in. We people out here in the burbs are allowed that disconnect with reality. And Obozo has been bragging about crewing with us. He's on the air constantly taking credit for high gas prices whether he realizes it or not. And the media can't save him, gas prices are too immediate to be hidden.
These idiots knew that Obama wanted to necessarily skyrocket our energy prices in 08 when he said it with his own mouth and they didnt give a damn...
Romney hasnt articulated what he would do about Gas prices... Obama is winning that battle right not cause stupid people are blaming speculators and Obama is telling them that the middle east is who is to blame for the uncertainty etc.. they are buying it...Newt is the only candidate that has a plan on what to do and has gotten out infront of the issue with solutions... Romney has no ideas and no solutions.. he is simply an establishment puppet.. they like him cause they can pull his strings.. he has no real convictions so it is easy to get him to do what they want.. The GOP establishment has no interest in the tea party or social conservatives.. they like things the way they are and they just use us for our votes like Rush said...

Dont get me wrong, I'll vote for Romeny in the General if he is the nominee, cause unlike our POTUS I'm sure that Romney does love our Country, I just don't think Romney has what it takes to beat Obama.. he cant draw enough of a contrast between him and Obama IMO

Maybe you should have been part of us supporting Bachmann or Cain?  You're insistence on them being "too extreme" has come back to bite us.  Now we have Romney.  Cain or Bachmann would have a vortex of conservative/independent votes funneling in if one of them were still in it.

Just sayin....

I don't remember it that way...  She would have voted and supported Cain had he been in, but was consistent in saying they are too extreme (Cain and Bachmann) for the country or to get the nomination.  She went from hoping West jumps in, to Newt.

Josie, please correct if I am wrong.

Taxed, I am a realistic person... I like Cain, I like Bachmann, I even like Santorum, but do you not see what is happening? Santorum like Bachmann is giving the liberal and RINO media too much material when it comes to social issues.. it is literally freaking out the independents and moderates... like it or not we need their votes to win as well as the base....
Santorum is losing votes daily because he concentrated too much of the social issues... Newt has played his cards right, he doesnt over do it, but you know where he stands... I liked Cain a lot and still do, but when all that dirt came out about him and it became a distraction... I believed him at first, but when that last woman came out with 4am phone records I felt he would end up hurting our party if he stayed in... it makes for too much of a distraction. Just sayin

Good!  That is a good thing.  We want libs to do backflips...

Indys and moderates will not vote for Hussein.  A majority of them would vote for the alternative to Hussein.

No, it's because he is a damn lib!  He is even against right-to-work legislation.  He is no conservative.

I'm not sure where he stands, except confirmed liberal on energy.  He isn't all that smart if he buys into AGW.  I really like Newt.  I'm a Georgian, and personally, I would like him to be President, because I have access to him. Still, I don't want him to be President.  Over Hussein? Yes.  Over a conservative?  No.

You would rather have confirmed liberal positions over a conservative with distractions?  Distractions go away.  They get disproven as time goes on.

Considering the amount of money Romney has spent, his support by the party establishment, the fact that the disaffected Republicans have had their votes split by a number of candidates, his favorable press (he wins in Arizona - a state with a large Mormon population it gets played up, he loses in Colorado a battleground state i it gets played down), and I wouldn't doubt he's made a corrupt deal with Ron Paul; I'd say Santorum is hanging tough. If Romney can denied a victory on the first ballot, his support might evaporate. BTW, we must never lose sight of the importance of Congress.

You are right, I shouldnt have lumped Santorum in with Cain and Bachmann... Santorum vowed to get rid of the tea party...

How is Newt liberal on energy?

He also buys into AGW, which ties into energy...

He even supported Romneycare...

He is bad on illegal immigration, etc etc.  He is a disaster.

Bottom line?
Short of being dragged to polls by the secret police and a large caliber hand weapon being placed next to mt skull, I wouldn't vote for Obozo.
And there's a good chance not even then.
A quick and merciful death is preferable to a slow and torturous demise.
I'd bite the bullet on Romney, because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate.
I think the majority of the people of the US, prefer ANYONE to Obozo.

He has no interest in curbing the ethanol scam by the leftists, simply because he knows where his money comes from.
That is not a Conservative, that is someone more interested in his political life, than that of the consumer.
Its also a reflection on where he stands on the EPA.

I understand that there are a couple of things that we arent going to agree with Newt about, but IMO he most definately is the most viable of the candidates we have to choose from.... I think if he is good enough for Sarah he's good enough for me I truly believe that he is the only one that can beat Obama... people say a coke can can beat Obama, I think those people highly underestimate what is going to happen... The MSM will be actively covering up for Obama to the point that it will be impossible for voters to get real information...I do suggest that people stop using google and use this instead https://www.ixquick.com/

This is a list of Newts positions

@mdgiles... I am 100% with you , I will vote for any conservative in the general.... maybe even Ron Paul... (still havent decided on that yet because of his foreign policy... I dont know if Israel would be more safe under President Obama or President Paul, lucky for me I dont think Paul will be our nominee...

For what its worth Josie, Newt really is our only real option.
I used to be a big fan of Newts but he lost his core values along the way, but I have no doubt with pressure from the Tea party Freshmen class coming in, we can keep him on track.
