With less than four weeks to go before Election Day, more than 6.6 million Americans already have voted, more than ten times the number who had at this time in 2016, according to the United States Elections Project, which compiles early voting data.

...

The early surge has led McDonald to predict a record turnout of about 150 million, representing 65% of eligible voters, the highest rate since 1908.

I predict the rabid do-nothings that froth at the mouth about Trump couldn't wait to vote.
"We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people." –John F. Kennedy, February 1962

The gap will close as in person early voting opens up! also party affiliation does not tell how they voted!

So since Biden is such a sure winner why would you expose your family by voting in person? Since it is obvious by your post that Biden will win by such  large margins the couple votes you'll make really won't make that big a difference! Just stay home!

A lot of people are showing up in-person and Early.

But, this is a reason to either expand Vote-by-Mail, Early-Voting, or Polling locations.

It shouldn't take an entire work-day to vote for President in America.
Or just have more polling places ready on the voting day.

That's good too. We could even make it a Holiday so that people don't lose a day's work.

Funny, until the Marxists started fucking with our election process, it worked perfectly well.

Conservatives should vote early and often just like the Democrats do!

They certainly do.

I looked at the cross-tabs of this poll last night and iirc Democrats were evenly split between Early-voting, vote-by-mail, and Election day voting.

Republicans were 2/3rds on Election day.

But, since the Democratic areas are the ones with the longer wait times, it makes sense that they'd vote early and by mail.
