A police officer has been injured in a crossbow attack outside the Israeli embassy in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic told reporters that the officer had subsequently shot and killed the assailant.

Officials have described the assailant as a Muslim convert and classified the attack as "terrorist" in nature.

Fun fact, I travel this street by bus when returning from work, I could have witnessed such an attack, but this happened on Saturday.

Ha ha, the question, is a terrorist attack normal? First time I hear for a Muslim terrorist using a crossbow. A bizarre case of a new Muslim convert wanting to make a strike against Israel by attaking a Serbian police officer. The investigation is still ongoing, we should have more details later. The Muslim leaders in Serbia have condemned the attack.

This case reminds me of a small bizarre movement we had about a decade ago, when a group of people decided to simultaneously attack several banks with fake plastic pistol replicas, they wanted to make a philosophical statement that the banks are bad and should be abolished.

We didn't outlaw guns, but he could have bought a gun illegaly anyways, it is more easy than to buy a gun with a licence.

Should I call any terrorist crazy, but this one was special, recent convert to Islam, he phoned his wife from the bus that day telling her that he will soon be in Heaven.
