I once worked with a GS-18 who smugly assured me that he could tell Air Force generals to go to hell and not even get a phone call about it. At the very least he would have been humbled with frequent job rotations to other countries or bases.

Multiply that attitude among so many people who are enamored with position over effectiveness. I'd say fully 20% of that "management" level would never be missed.

WHen you get to a certain level in Law enforcement Orgs (Border Patrol) there is only so far you can go with tests and competitive exams to get rank.  When you get to the last mid level manager rank like Lieutenant, after that it is likely a political appointee'.

It sounds like there is a whole slew of these jerk off's who were Obamao stooges installed to keep the troops from doing their job and clogged things up with red tape as to make the job almost impossible to do.

You need to get rid of every one of them you can by removal/termination or make the place a hostile work environment so they voluntarily leave or retire. Either that or send them to the Aluetian Islands in Alaska during the winter to count penguin eggs or something.

Wow.... I had to snap-out-of-it.  For a second there, I thought you were talking about the big company I work for....

It is interesting to note how out-of-touch organizational heads become with day-to-day operations because of their inability to see past numbers, charts & graphs to understand real customer needs and the lengths we go to meet their expectations.   It's the ones who are more concerned with Political Correctness than profitability, who really need to be shown the door first.
