This is why all those third party groups don't disclose their contributors

If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

No plans to investigate the leftist groups doing the same thing. Chicago cut-throat politics as usual, from the Thug in Chief.

That's OK because Darrell Issa is going to take his pound of flesh once he takes over the ethics committee of the house.  ;)

That's NOT okay. The IRS needs a clean-out, soonest. Rid us of the political hacks. Make them hated for the original reason, not because they serve as a tool for oppressive leftist government.

Exactly, they are totally two faced...the left ran wild during the last few election cycles....and how about the mayberry guy and his senior citizen cheerleading for obamacare....whos paying for that and the rest of them

Poor choice if words on my part. Of course it's not OK. All I meant to say is that we're going to take our pound of flesh. This is far from over.

And the burning-est question of all: have the GOP got the stones to live up to even the watered-down Contract With America (or whatever they call it)?

Okay, you got elected. Okay, you seized the House and maybe even scored 50 Senators (leaving the Senate much more manageable). But can you lead?

Any party which would keep Micheal Steele in any responsible position has NOT got the concept here. If the Republicans are to survive, they'd better stop sounding like gutless Democrats, and behave like Genghis Khan.

Dan

Good point. Is this the party of Lindsey Graham or the party of Jim DeMint? That's the real question here.  ;)

Well, here I turn contrarian when DeMint gets mentioned. Everyone called him "The Hammer," and many said he was the most effective GOP whip in decades. But somehow I just never saw it.

Maybe I was too busy watching the Pachyderms grab each other's tails and form a nice circus line, kneeling at center-ring and making nice to the wrong ringmasters. Then there were the protracted ethics charges clouding DeMint's achievements (whatever they actually were). Funny how the press just kinda brushed it aside when DeMint got cleared. Maybe it was that booking photo.

Vlad Tepes impaling 1,500 enemies outside his city's gates is more in line with the kind of Republican whom I'd call suitable. Somebody running on a Beat & Release ticket. And yes, I know that's not in the DNA of people who would leave Steele in place.

Got to say one thing about DeMint, however. He's no Nick Nolte when it comes to taking a great police booking-photo. That grin pissed off sooooooo many newspaper editors!
