If Durham is getting too close, I fully expect the DNC to pull the plug on the investigation. The ruse and rhetoric will be that the Democrats are "saving tax dollars" and that "there is nothing there to investigate". Notice how Hunter's laptop and Joe's connection with it all went away after he was installed...

Plus, getting too close?  He obtained the billing records and privied materials from Perkins Coie, much of which points back to the Clinton Campaign.  We're way past "too close".
