This may be California's last chance. I don't think that can survive like this much longer.
To be honest Bert, I think it's too late.

For Ca to survive, it will be forced to file bankruptcy, then and only then will the libs leave, but along with them will be their leaches, like illegals, and others living off the system.

:o  When did Libs care about real numbers.   ;D

When their screaming about electoral votes didn't do any good?

Dan

Yep. California is so far gone that infer it won't turn from liberalism until it runs out of cash and runs out of options. There are two ways to shrink the size of government. They hard way and the easy way. Looks like California might be choosing the hard way.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

I give it around 5 years, don't know why, it's just a feeling.
Been here all my life and never thought I would look forward to this beautiful State going under, but if burning down the house is the only way to get rid of the Cockroaches, then so be it.

Liberals are like locusts. They utterly destroy everything they touch. There was a time when California, New York, Michigan and Illinois were 4 of the most prosperous states in the union. But look what a few years of leftist policies can do to even the most prosperous states.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

and unions also  ;D   :o Oh sorry there Liberals  >:D

If they file for bankruptcy I would imagine they would by have to cut cost to the bone. Including entitlements and pensions. Those that are already receiving a pension will have the cost picked up by the rest of the country. Those that will no longer get the fat benefit packages they signed up for will be angry. Not to mention groups like La Raza when the illegals are no longer supported by the state. All hell will break loose.

OK, but you say this like it's a bad thing? ;D
The courts would become the keeper of the bank, and no one would be spared, I would just hope that instead of cutting across the board, they actually cut redundant programs and crap like the arts.

No, no, no Mr Bert. If California goes bankrupt then the Republican led house most certainly will NOT carry the burden of California's bloated pension system. California can either sort this out or not sort it out.
