It is true that many Democratic voters seem clueless and probably are clueless about the impact of their parties policies.  Much of this is due to the major dumbing down and liberal biases built into our public education system over the past fifty years.    However, with those who are intelligent enought to walk and chew gum at the same time it is not a question of how stupid, but greedy self interest that drives many Democratic voters.   They have become accustomed to the fact that their politicians will let them suck at the public trough as long as they vote them into office.  They simply do not give a fig for effect their short term greed will have on their children and grandchildren.  It is truly the "what's in it for me" generation.   A sad commentary on how far our ethics and morality have fallen in the US.
