Apparently our president's history is quite the little mystery wrapped in an enigma and that's a factor he's been fostering for some time. In his time at Harvard he was the editor of the Law Review but didn't write a single article himself. More then that though virtually nothing of his views, or scholarship, at the time is known. He really does come across as the man who designs himself as goes leaving past relationships, views, supporters, ideas and failures in a memory hole from which nothing emerges.

And yet he passed the Dim party vetting process?

I know, I'm being facetious. :D
