Do you hear that?  It is the worlds tiniest violin, playing just for them.  Nancy Pelosi thinks we need to "respect the dignity of the position.". I find very little I can respect about her, her position, or the positions of her comrades.  I find that I really don't care if they get a pay cut.  Frankly, none of them should get paid at all until the deficit is $0.  I am sick and tired of them spending money we don't have, simply because they did in the past.  It has to stop, and if it starts with them and their pay, that's a-okay with me.

I saw this earlier, and instantly, like a kneejerk response, thought if you want respect, take no salary like the early House members did, no damned perks, but did the job out of a sense of responsibility.
