The Republicans have been creating income streams for liberals. A good example is the "Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act." Sonny Bono was the Republican Congress-Critter that sponsored the bill. Disney and degenerate music stars pushed to pass this law to increase Democrat funding, and Republicans that controlled the Congress were happy to oblige. So, the liberal companies got 20 more years for copyrights. Republican Orin Hatch introduced the bill in the Senate.

Artists by nature are mostly liberals. Republicans should of cut the copyrights by 20 years, not extended. The extra money the Democrats are getting is being used against Republican candidates. Republicans have been voting to extend the copyright terms since the 19th century. Newt Gingrich said he supported it because it was pro-business. "Capitalism! Capitalism!" was the Republican cry.

What comes out of Hollywood and the music industry does nothing but demoralize and rots the body politic. Republicans will keep losing because they do not use the power of government like the Democrats do.

There is good news, Republican Josh Hawley wants to cut the copyright term to 28 years. Republican presidential candidates must pledge not to enforce copyrights more than 28 years old.
