Ted Cruz, great responses to Erin. I wish I'd been at the interview with Lindsey-Poo Grahamnesty(with a dozen rotten eggs).

You'd have made him angry.
Rrrealllyy angryyyy....
She tried her best to defend Hillary. Sadly for her, some things are indefensible.
Cruz has a really good temperament. I would have called her an idiot and thrown my earpiece at the camera...

LOL, what would it matter now?
He is always very good at responding to any questions. I love it when ANYONE will not accept whatever premise the media puts out there!!
DaisyJane
No surprise as Cruz won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship. In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year and Team of the Year (with his debate partner, David Panton) Cruz was also a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princeton's highest-ranked debater at the championship.
I think he will give Hillary a run for her money provided that the GOP backs him.

It's not up to the GOP, it's up to us.
Machiavelli observed that leaders must be able to instill a sense of fear
in their adversaries; that those who cross them, do so at their peril.
Can Cruz do this? While he is earnest, likeable and principled; too
often he comes across as a soft and reasonable type. Or have we
become so effete and feminized as a nation that we are no longer
capable of producing, much less embracing the likes of Our Founders,
Disraeli, Von Bismarck and MacArthur.

I actually didn't know that about Cruz.

I didn't know that either, taxed.
josh, maybe he is not really letting go, so to speak. I thought him right "in Erin's face" with his comments. Imagine having to converse with Hillz, he'd probably go off on her. I hope he gets his chance at her in a debate. Hope he is saving his best for her.

He is a smart guy and it would be interesting to see him and Hillary. I don't believe he would use the McCain/Romney hands off approach. Of course the MSM would skewer him for it, but what the heck, the GOP needs to change its tactics.

I think too he has something that the MSM likes him. It's going to be harder to know Cruz, then go on TV and call him a radical zealot.
