I don't think it was veiled racism, people just get sick and tired of scum doing as they please, while the rest of us try and live a good life.
Sometimes one of us snaps and decides to do what the law refuses to do, and that's, take the scum out.
Same thing used to happen to bikers when I was growing up, people didn't want their element in town and took the law into their own hands and ran them out, some even died in the process.
But the scum always got the message.

Whereas I get sick and tired of people acting as if crime is a specifically racial problem, as opposed to a cultural or socio-economic problem, ignoring the fact that there are criminals of all ethnic groups and historically EVERY ethnic group within the US, has - at one time or another - made up the majority of those involved in criminal pursuits. And, of course, there are people who constantly present a distorted picture of criminal victimization. Like, for example, those people who go on and on about crime, mentioning at every opportunity how those criminals are minorities; but never seem to point out that their victims are also minorities.

I've been here quite a while and I've seen no such "racism" in Yawn's use of words such as "savages" etc.

Case in point is the thread about the loser who stabbed the deaf guy because he thought that guy was flashing gang signs.

Yawn (in bold type no less) referred to that piece of human filth as a savage.

Oh, and that guy - the attacker - was white...

Just like the old saying "Calling a spade, a spade" has absolutely nothing to do with blacks (it is actually an old Scottish saying, IIRC), I think when Yawn calls some one a "savage" it is because that person, regardless of race, is acting, well, like a savage!
