Mom would have broken down and sobbed if she saw this picture of our flag being disrespected.  Like many of her generation she was extremely patriotic.  During WWII she was a "Rosie the Riveter."  She was 5 feet tall, weighed 100 pounds soaking wet.  She ran 3 brake presses, fabricating parts for B-52 bomb sites.  She worked long, hard hours and did not quit until she was 8-1/2 months pregnant.

In her "spare" time she wrote a letter a week to 25 of the guys in her neighborhood who were serving all over the world.  They each got a package of home baked goods once a month.  They each got a miniature local newspaper once a month.  Mom visited their wives or mothers once a month to see if they needed anything.

When she was in her late 70s she worked 5 hours a day, 7 days a week doing volunteer work for the Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society.  She only stopped because she started to lose her vision.

Her entire adult life she put flags outside on appropriate holidays, taking care they hung correctly, never touched the ground and were carefully brought inside before sunset.

Yeah, she would have been heartbroken to see her beloved flag being treated like trash.

We've seen this time and time again about how darned stupid liberals are when it comes to their give-a-way candidates.  They have absolutely no shame and love nothing more than time on their hands to wallow in the misery they want for everyone else.
