He blames Bush on the state of the economy, so, in their logic, Bush ushered Obama in, and will usher him out.

Odd you should mention the enthusiasm gap. I was just reading a story about the survey they did in Milwaukee, that found that 40% of the African Americans who were registered to vote in 2008 can no longer be located. Either because the address they used is condemned, abandoned, or someone of a different name was living there. However at Hot Air, Ed Morrissey, looked at the figures and sees it showed the same number of African Americans voting. Which raises and interesting question. How are all these invisible people voting. Hmmmm, was all that 2008 Obama "enthusiasm" simply voter fraud on a massive scale?

I haven't bought into a majority of blacks voting for Hussein...  I think it will be 50/50 (of black voters), if that...

I've felt for years that vote theft, on a massive scale, has taken place in inner city black neighborhoods. I saw in one election where 100% of one precinct went for the Dem candidate - including all the registered Republicans, socialists, conservatives, etc. I believe it was in Philadelphia. Of course after hearing fifty years of how 95% of blacks vote for Dems, any black who doesn't vote for them simply believes they are part of the 5%.

That's what I call real hell... you spend your life as a solid conservative, then die and end up on some Dem voter roll....

I always felt that one of the reasons the media goes apesh*t over a black conservative is their fear of a preference cascade:
Quote

As described by Glenn Reynolds in a classic 2002 essay, a preference cascade occurs when people trapped inside a manufactured consensus suddenly realize that many other people share their doubts.  Preference falsification works by making doubters feel isolated and alone.  In a totalitarian society, the dissenter fears that if he speaks up, his will be a lone voice, easily squashed by the enforcers of the regime.  When dissenters realize they are not alone, and the true strength of their numbers becomes apparent, "invincible" regimes vanish with astonishing speed.

The same effect can occur without brutal oppression, when fear of ostracism and ridicule cause people to suppress their own doubts. This kind of preference falsification requires strict discipline from the makers of opinion.  Since a free society makes it very easy for individuals to change their opinions, they must be prevented from even considering such a change.  Manufactured consensus is very fragile in a competitive arena of ideas, when there is no fearsome penalty for a "Fresh Air" listener who decides to switch over to Rush Limbaugh.

The Dems do not want the idea that blacks are unhappy with their party, to become current.

Interesting, never gave it any thought before.
So you're saying that Blacks have a hive mentality, based on fear of ostracism?

In other words, once the cards begin to fall, rather than feeling free to speak up, there will be a kind of revolt within the black community against the Dim party?

Actually we all have that hive mentality - unless we receive contrary information. Look at what happened in this country with the rise of other sources of information besides the MSM. Glenn Reynolds major example is the USSR and the rise of the dissidents. The" invincible" USSR was gone overnight. In the black community - as I've noted before - there has always been a greater tendency toward  solidarity. We had to look out for each other because no one else was going to look out for us. I believe I've noted before how the race merchants, fraudsters and corruptocrats take advantage of this tendency (look how quickly the charges of racism fell from the lips of the Obamabots). And I do believe if the information does get through, there will be a sudden collapse of the Dim hegemony. It doesn't seem odd to you that the basically Sol Con black community often marches in lock step behind an ultra liberal dim party?

I like Romney's bit about how you can see the glue on their cars where they ripped off the "O" bumper sticker.
