I believe Walt would turn over in his grave. Interestingly enough this site for Disneyland list it as the Unoffical Gay Days at Disneyland.

Unfortunately I am not sure what Disney can do if a large group of gays decide to all go to Disneyland/Disney World on the same day. At least they do not list it as an event on the official Disney calendar.
As a parent how would you feel planning a vacation there, which is not cheap, only to find the park overrun with gay, lesbian and transgenders..... I would not be happy and probably demand my money back.

If they're doing it as a warning to families who may be planning adventures, to go to Seaworld or Universal on that day, I see nothing wrong with it.
If they're trying to promote it as a way to cozy up to the PC elements in this country, then it's not a smart move for them, seeing as their main target demographic is families, who usually frown upon this behavior, or at least wish to go about their lives without having people flaunting it in front of them.
D'you think Disneyworld will ever have a Fulton Street Fair exhibit? Can't imagine what they'd call the rides....
I would hate to visit Disneyland during "Gay Day." I want to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and the whole cast of Disney characters - not hundreds of Tinker Bells.

Oh my gosh...it happened to me at Disney World in Florida. When we planned the trip that June, I never suspected we would have our first trip ruined by a bunch of gay creeps. Most of them were hell-bent on showing off and letting the ones with kids get an eye full. Totally disgusting!
There has been a yearly "Gay Day" at Disney since at least the Ellen Degeneres debacle.
You know Walt is turning in his grave.
He built his dream with children in mind, free of perversion.
That dream has turned into a moral nightmare for the American family.

From what I read it started around 1990 with a group of 3,000.
Holly I am sorry your family had your vacation ruined. Unfortunately what you stated is the problem. There will be those who will flaunt it in your (and your children's) face. They can't just be there to enjoy the day they feel this need to stand out and make sure you see it. Toy
The question is why gays would feel the need to organize a "gay day." I mean, I thought the whole argument for homosexuals was that they were completely normal people who just happen to have gay sex and we should treat them the same. And yet they go out of their way to say "we're a separate group and we're all going to show up at a place at the same time!" I mean, that's their right to do and nobody can stop that from happening, but it's just hilarious how contradictory the message is. Which is typical liberalism.

I love the logic you have here and will have to use it in the future. (Hope you don't mind.) I have always questioned why they should get "special" treatment because they are gay. This is a great response to their argument. Thanks.
