So it's your opinion that the POTUS is wasting time, which could better be spent on political matters.

Did I miss your sarc tag? Dear Leader will waste time, taxpayer money, and anything else he can steal to divert the voting public from what truly ails this country, which is of course Dear Leader himself and his assholic policies.

No matter how they spin the "official" unemployment numbers, the fact is that the labor participation rate has slid 3 1/2 percent on a steady downhill plunge since Dear Leader took office. That's almost five MILLION American workers who are just "not there" any more, no longer counted in the "official" unemployment tally.

Under the circumstances, I think cheap tricks like scotching the Keystone XL pipeline should qualify for a charge of felony assault against the American people, grounds for impeachment and a length encampment with Big Bubba at the Iron Bar Hilton.

Oh, but let's talk about gay marriage. [/sarc]

but did you not get the implication from the article that the defense spending/east coast missile base might end up being a "bargaining" chip right here?

Actually that was a question to Bluelieu, who was chastising the House for "wasting" time on a ban on gay weddings, when they could be spending time on political matters. I was simply asking whether he was appliying the same standards to "Fearless Leader". I also should have asked why he didn't spend a little of that supposed political "popularity" by making this statement before the referendum in NC. Why as much as the people love him [/sarc] he might have changed those 61/39 ratio right around [/more sarc].
"LIBERALS: their willful ignorance is rivaled only by their catastrophic stupidity"!

She's a Democrat. There was no need to state the self evident.

Well, if she'd even OPEN a copy (borrowed, to be sure), she'd see that. Donks can't be more irreligious and ignorant, but the appalling part is how often they prove it.

Yes Giles, I believe the whole thing is subterfuge.  While the ship is sinking "Captain, O My Captain" has us arguing about who is paired up with whom and the Grand Ball.  And you are right about North Carolina.  His timing for the statement was intentional.
