The real fence/wall/barrier comes from enforcing the law with no exceptions, and to do so requires all of us voting out cheats and liars and Marxist sympathizers.

Here is what gets me

I've lived in, worked and traveled thru about 30 countries since 1998. Many of them are poor third world nightmares. The expats and tourists, mainly westerners that are in those countries probably account for a great deal of their revenue and clearly support the economy. They wink their eye at a lot of things But You can get deported for just about anything by ANY official,like the Mayor or the local ward boss let alone the cops. AND for 3rd world crap holes they have computer systems that allow them to keep track of who is where.

Some of the most common reasons for deportation are beating up your girlfriend or spouse, possession of illegal drugs, (In Malaysia they hang you if its any indication of trafficking) "disrespect" to public officials especially cops or Govt types.
Damaging property of a business establishment, any sort of theft, stealing etc.

They will literally grab you wherever you are, take your passport and ID and drive you immediately to the airport and put you on the next plane going out of the country, no matter where it is. Anything in the hotel or rented home you lose.

Granted these are in extreme cases but I've seen it done.

Compare how the 3rd world treats miscreant foreigners with how the US coddles them. Yeah I know due process and the Constitution but many of these countries also have constitutional protections, due process is deportationsimply because they don;t have the money or resources to try you and jail you
