Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy Sentenced To Three Years In Prison For Corruption

Does the U.S. media/Democrats using hyperbolic language have anything to do with this?  After all, the world media follows suit, so now they are forced to give him jail time.

Thoughts?
"We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people." –John F. Kennedy, February 1962

My first thought is that 3 years is a long long time to leave a smoking hot babe like Nick's wife alone!  My 2nd thought is that the French swamp must not be as deep as ours.

Yep, remember when this guy first came on the scene. He was all the rave and show-cased his wife around like a prized possession. France took a left turn when they elected this guy, but who can blame them? They were such a stunning couple....

Sometimes you seem lost.  I do have an authority on this, they didn't take a left turn when they elected this guy.  When Chirac was reelected in 2002 he knew he would have to do something with Sarkosy because he was more popular than Chirac, he was a doer.  So, they (the French swamp) figured they would put him in the position that would bury him in boredom, Interior Minister.  They figured that he couldn't get any attention there.  WRONG!  The first thing he did is rent a bunch of commercial jets and start loading up the illegals.  I was there, as an immigrant, and a little worried but happy because I was legal.

Well, it looks like Sarkozy's got lucky the judge lowered his sentence from 3 to 1 year and he can serve some of that time at home with his hottie.

In this instance, I most certainly spoke before checking my facts. My apologies.

Sick Of Silence

My first though was one year is not enough for government level coruption.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.
