Taxes are the bribe we pay government extortionists to leave us the hell alone.

The only way to steal is by force. But taxation is not stealing, is it?  If it is, why would only taxing income be stealing?  Why is taxing income any more immoral than taxing real estate?

Also immoral in my opinion.

Surely, Elmer, you are not this obtuse by accident. You must be taking some pill that slows down the thought processes, or just possibly this is by design.

So you're an anarchist, right?  That's the only explanation I can think of.

One one thing have I learned.  That the real value of fora like this is to give conservatards a place to vent and inbreed, which keeps them off the streets and from mucking up anything worthwhile.   One thing that is amazing is that all of them are allegedly self employed, private sector, government hating, job creating entrepreneurs that seem to have unlimited time to post.  One guy, on another forum, has averaged 38 a day for almost 6½ years.  Another thing that is amazing is that many of them also earned or still earn their living off the gummint which, unless you're in the military or law enforcement (according to one very active member) makes them parasites.

Another thing I have learned is there is nothing as thin skinned as a conservatard.

No, Elmer, as I believe there should be a little anarchy in everyone's soul, I am still not an anarchist. I believe there is a need for government. What I do not believe is that government has any authority or mandate to do more than what the Constitution has allowed it. If the founders did not advocate an income tax, I believe it was for a reason, and I am thoroughly convinced they were much brighter than most of the idiots that have come down the pike and were considerably brighter and knew much better than thee.

I am also, and without question, Elmer, convinced you may, if you choose, give all of your wealth to the government. Beyond that, you really have no say and certainly no claim to what little I have.

That's why it is difficult for you on this forum.  Many of us are company owners, have owned companies, and/or have worked in the private sector -- and even government sector.   Lib propaganda doesn't have a very long shelf life here.

And whether their resort to extra-Cosntitutional methods opened the door to other abuses of the Constitution?

To me it all started going downhill when John Marshall expanded the role of the Supreme Court beyond it's original design.

What is really sad is the time you devote to being online talking to people who don't like you. Say what you want about us, but at least we are not so desperate for human interaction that we will seek out people who think differently from us just to insult them. :P
