My today's standards Ronald Reagan the Dean of Conservatism would be considered a liberal. The GOP is in a shambles and has ejected its core which seems to now be taken over by the Dems.
I don't think that there is a left or right. The biggest leftie is Senator Sanders and he was often in agreement with a true Goldwater conservative Ron Paul.
Maybe we need to never vote for a candidate who takes corporate money?

Unsupported assertions and hasty generalizations are a poor way to introduce one's self. It makes one sound like a troll.

Lib-forums dispatching volunteer seed-planters onto conservative-forums in efforts to spam them with rehearsed talking-points and lambskin-wearing ideologies... so that visitors/new-members hopefully see a
politics topic-thread's
page-1 full of scarecrow-y distractions and manufactured derision?
I'm astonished.

Now I remember why you were booted in the first place, you're just a fuckin idiot!
So when your account goes dead, don't write me and whine in disbelief, just know we have a higher standard than most forums, one you've failed to attain.

Couldn't there be some kind of probationary membership. Where, at the very least a newbie can't start his own threads or post links. And, ideally, be limited to a few posts an hour, until he's proven himself.
(Seriously, I know very little about running forums. For all I know that could be trivial, incredibly difficult, or impossible.)

Limiting someone to X number of posts per hour would absolutely stifle Solar's style. (Or mine, after my second Thermos of coffee.)
Seriously? I agree on posting links, but allowing them to start threads does help them float to the surface faster, and, like other sewage, be cleanly flushed by efficient methods.

I wish I could, but unfortunately it's literally like baby sitting the member.
Does make for a target rich environment though... just sayin

Not mine. I'm not a fan of flame wars. I've seen threads with a hundred posts, and one guy made nearly half of them - the vast majority of it nothing but mindless gainsaying.
The average liberal is good for maybe one or two passes before the endless: "I know you are but what am I?" debate begins. Some can go a few more rounds, and some (like this loser) not so much. The only part I'm interested in is the part where the normal people comment back and forth. Liberal propaganda can be a springboard for that, but nothing more.
I never argue WITH liberals; I only make fun OF them. A "good" liberal (and by that of course I mean someone good
at being a liberal, and absolutely nothing else) will condense more than a few utterly insane and idiotic preconceptions and Doublespeak redefinitions into a single sentence. But then his role in the process is over for a while. One could charitably say that liberals are sort of like insects: we can learn from them, but only through the process of dissection. Letting a fully-indoctrinated apparatchik keep spewing slogans out like a firehose just gets in the way of the process.
As Albert Einstein once said: the only unquestionably limitless realm is that of human stupidity. Any rational person will eventually reach his point, and stop. But no liberal ever will.
