This is a satirical piece based on Obama's sequestration proposals, but the first paragraph (and link) gave me real pause. Obama wants to delay refueling of Navy aircraft carriers, and in the long run this will severely impact in-port overhaul schedules and operational readiness.

All political posturing and trying to make a point.  In the Scranton PA area the local lib paper had a big article about how it is likely that the local depot, which is the biggest employer in the area is going to have layoffs because of the sequestration.  Same articles they used to have from time to time and especially when McDade was running for reelection.  The cut is a decrease in the amount of the increase for Christs sake so I do not think it is the end of the world as we know it.  And if it is well this country really is a dead man walking.
