Yeah, saw that yesterday, it has a sister ship called (I think) Ever Global, or something like that.

For awhile there, I thought renaming it might be appropiate.

a.  "Ever Stuck"
b.  "almost sunk"
c.  "Never again"

Waiting to hear what kind of $$$ is gonna get paid out, and for the insurance settlements - if it's ever released to the public.  Sadly, those costs are just passed on to the consumers.

As witnesses have stated, the wind was not that strong, didn't effect any of the other ships on the canal, and I'm the one refusing to gather knowledge?

Do you have any clue of the billions of dollars involved here? If you wanted to takeover another company that was already struggling, what better way to put pressure on them, and that's just one of the theories floating around the container shipping industry.

At first it was a solid billion, now they knocked it down 10%.

Now that most of the contents have either spoiled or the buyers ordered replacements thanks to insurance, it would appear Evergiven is threatening to unload the ship in the Saudis hands as a loss and let insurance cover the loss.
