Meanwhile, pirates along the Cape of Good Hope are celebrating Christmas during Easter week. The Cape of Good Hope is where 95% of the worlds pirates set sail to plunder cargo ships. The world had better send a massive fleet of patrol boats to the Cape or this is going to go south real quick.

Quote from: Solar on March 28, 2021, 05:31:41 AMHopes of re-floating the stranded 20,388TEU Ever Given following this weekend increased when salvage teams using Suez Canal tugs reportedly succeeded in freeing the stern and rudder section of the vessel.Salvage teams from the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) have said that they have successfully moved the bow of the stricken ship five metres as the tide rises, but the best chance for removing the vessel will come later today as more powerful tugs arrive and the high tide aids the recovery.https://container-news.com/salvors-free-stern-of-ever-given/Update to EVER GIVEN's status in the Suez Canal28th March 2021Having removed more than 20,000 tons of sand and mud, thedredging operation underway has succeeded in loosening the EVERGIVEN's bow within the bank of the Suez Canal and the ship's sternhas been cleared from the sand bank. The rudder and propeller of thevessel are fully functional and expected to provide additional supportto tugboats assigned to move the container ship from the accident siteso that normal transit may again resume within the canal. The rescue team is continuing the dredging efforts and willresume attempts to refloat the vessel at 14:00 local time in Egypt(20:00 Taipei time). https://www.evergreen-marine.com/tuf1/jsp/TUF1_News.jsp?newsType=G2&newsId=NEWS2021032800007982&lang=en
Quote from: walkstall on March 28, 2021, 06:38:11 AMI would think that if the wind did it. There would have been one hell of a storm in that area.
Quote from: Solar on March 28, 2021, 09:09:41 AMWitnesses, locals, security guards, all said that it wasn't all that windy, that they've seen much worse and it never effects these ships.
Quote from: winterset on March 29, 2021, 02:38:01 AMThese ships are very tall; catch the wind easily. And they like super tankers are horribly under powered; and have terrible maneuverability. The best guess on what happened is that the pilots who were supposedly in charge got careless or stupid. By the time they realized something was going wrong it was too late to stop it happening. So anyone claiming that even a moderate wind would have no effect is either ignorant or a liar
Quote from: esbad63 on March 29, 2021, 04:43:05 AMConsidering that.....#1. Our current government is widely suspected of rigging an election. Regardless of what you actually believe, a significant % of the population (possibly the majority) remain convinced the election was stolen. #2. Our current government is allowing potentially a million or more illegal immigrants to enter the USA while currently providing the first 100,000 free room and board in HOTELS along with $1400 checks. #3. Point #2 is being flaunted in spite of the Covid plandemic that was only important for a single reason (to remove Trump and institute a new world order). This all proved the Dims only care about themselves (votes and power) while WE THE PEOPLE are put LAST every time. Considering all of that (plus a thousand other things I could write on) why would anyone put complete TRUST in anything our government is telling us about ANYTHING?
