I feel like within my family I stand nearly alone with the exception of my daughter. even my Wonder Welder is on the fence for supporting trump at this point.. So be it, I cannot and will not tell someone how they should vote. We are all, each one of us , free to do what our hearts and our conscious dictate.  I refuse to allow my Mom to draw me in anymore.. She called yesterday with a "hey, how do you feel about Cruz now moment"  I calmly.. yes, calmly explained exactly what happened and how it played out. Made little difference, she stood by her assertion that Cruz should not have accepted the slot if he wasn't going to endorse... sigh.....

it doesnt suprise me that Trump, instead of coming right out and trying to gain support takes the low road and focuses on Cruz. This will come back and bite him

Imho, this proves trump is no business man. He does not care to build anything, he lives for revenge.  this was/is his "shinning" moment and he can not get Cruz out of his head. It does not look good when he wants to destroy Cruz more than he wants to build this country. I really do not know who I fear more in the white house, trump or hillery.

I know the feeling.  My husband of 34 years has been giving me his crap about writing in Ted is essentially voting for Hillary.  He and I have always agreed on political candidates up until now. I cannot get him to understand why I cannot vote for Trump and even started in about how Ted ruined his career ... at that point  I finally firmly said to him, honey, on this issue you and I are going to just have to agree to disagree.

Trump is Hillary, Hillary is Trump - vote for one and you're voting for the other.
+4 decades of being a flaming liberal isn't extinguished in a year, or ten years - it's a whole mindset that needs time to unravel, think about, discard and be replaced with Conservative views.

I was a Liberal at one time, and the transition in YOUR HEAD takes TIME. 
It's one thing to realize your position is completely illogical and without Constitutional merits, getting all that Liberal cobweb crap out of your head isn't just switching parties.

Donald Trump is appealing to Bernie's bunch because he doesn't know how to think like a conservative,, and if that's not believable, why is Trump threatened by the guy who holds the key to his success as POTUS!?  Simple, he's either a full fledged Liberal, or still reasoning like a Liberal - instead of embracing Conservatism.

Talk is cheap, Ted has decades of solid conservatism backing up what he says.
