That is, do you think he honestly wants to better the world with his actions?

Or is he an Evil Socialist who actively works to screw everyone over for his own gain?

Discuss.

Irrelevant.

His job as president is not the "better the world with his actions" it is to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

No and Yes.

EDIT: At best he is a stupid person who actually accepts all the leftist claptrap he learned growing up.
"LIBERALS: their willful ignorance is rivaled only by their catastrophic stupidity"!

Irrelevant.

Relevant to clarify the various accusations of Obama being bent on America's destruction, and claims that he intentionally frauded the election.

What Rush said.  Liberals measure Liberal FAILURE by their INTENTION and not their RESULTS.  Obama is a massive FAILURE and we are paying the price for it.  I despise him.

Besides, he is DISHONEST.  Is a dishonest person good or bad?

Whether or not I, or you, or anyone else thinks Obama "intentions" are good or not is irrelevant - as my mother used to say, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions". All that matter are his actions and his results.

His actions have been uniquely anti-business, and anti-free trade. His results have worsened an already bad recessions and, he is continuing that destructive course by insisting one pushing us over the so-called fiscal cliff by refusing to compromise on raising the Bush Era Tax Rates, for so-called millionaires and billionaires (although how anyone who only make $250,000 a year qualifies as a "millionaire" is beyond me).

Maybe it's just me, but I think the difference in severity of having a (allegedly) misguided president and an actively evil president is pretty substantial.

Not to derail the thread (as always happens when I try focusing on a specific issue), but Obama put tax cuts for 98% of the populace and small businesses on the table.  The House rejected them just to spite Obama.

If I can get conspiratorial, I'd say that they were trying to undermine Obama's attempts to rebuild the economy, in order to bolster their 2012 election bid.

What is a good person?

Do I think Obama thinks he is a good person? Yes I do.

Do I think Obama is a good person? I think many of the things he wants to accomplish are not morally good, his intentions may be good, but if intentions are the sole determining factor in what makes a person good, then it seems everyone is a good person since even the most evil acts have been done with the best intentions.

So I would say I simply am not qualified to judge his character since I don't know his interior disposition, and I wouldn't even presume to call myself a good person. I try to be a good person, and I see being such as the ideal and wouldn't presume to think I am the ideal at the moment.

"Evil" is a subjective term. Regardless, if a cop shoots someone accidentally or if he has gone "rogue" and shoots that same person, does that make his victim any less dead?

I don't think so...

Keeping the Bush Era Tax Rates where they already are is not a "tax cut". I'd like to say you appear to be too smart to be suckered into such infantile Liberal semantics, but I really don't have any proof to back up such an assertion.

Oh, yeah, right! And exactly how did that work out for the Republicans?

BILLY Defiant

I think he is a petty dishonest liar and has a personal agenda to punish people he was taught to hate.

Evil operates best when it is disguised for what it truly is.

He promised Fundamental Transformation.

That means changing the """Fundamental"" structure of our government.

Contrary you those that think Obama is STUPID, I don't. He has been "BRILLIANT" in achieving his  goals.

He was stupid enough to get a Second Term

Quote
OBAMA'S GOAL ------- DECONSTRUCTING THE UNITED STATES

I Pray the TEA PARTY grow and strengthens!

Now is the time to start preparing for Mid Terms to get a SUPER MAJORITY in both Houses
The strength of our Society is the continuous recognition, respect and acknowledgment of the right of Freedom of Speech and necessity of high social and moral standards as well as loyalty to the absolute implementation of those principles set forth in our US constitution.

In general, humans are not "good" by nature (yes, including me) and whether he knows if he is truly "good" or not is wholly between him and his God. That said, his policies indicate someone who believes what he espouses but a lot of people who have done great damage to society "believed" what they said.

kramarat

Who knows if he's good or not.

The problem is, that he's pushing an agenda towards a "global" socialist utopia. A necessary part of that goal is diminishing the role of America in global affairs, and marginalizing us to the point that we are no longer economically superior to any other nation. Sometimes it seems like he's a bad man, because the ends always justify the means, and lying and manipulation are part of the overall scheme.

I don't think he's a bad man. I just believe that he thinks that he is working for the overall benefit of global humanity, not representing the US. Which is something we don't want in a president. He should be working at the UN.

Yes i THINK he is a good man.
