Just ran across a STUNNING survey done by GlobeScan, an outfit I'm not familiar with. If they're somewhere in the ballpark, we could be facing serious trouble on the international playing field.

The survey found that 58% of Americans think the rich deserve their wealth. That, in my mind, is a rather depressing number. But it's the third-highest number of the 23 nations surveyed, and it compares to a frightening 9% in Greece.

Check out the article here.

It kind of explains why the UN has entered the global, wealth redistribution game.

This is what happens when Marxists are allowed to indoctrinate unchecked, and people don't question what their kids are "learning".

This is one thing that Conservative have yet to learn. I forget who it was who said it, but there is a lot of truth to the saying, who controls the government is not nearly as important as who controls the schools!

This is why one of the basic tenets of Marxism is "free and universal education" - controlled by the state, of course!

To believe that someone deserves their wealth, is to face the fact that they are more talented, or smarter, or harder working, or simply luckier, that you are. IOW, you have to be willing to recognize your own limitations. How many are willing to do that? It's far more psychologically comforting to yell: "They cheated"!
"LIBERALS: their willful ignorance is rivaled only by their catastrophic stupidity"!

It's all overrated anyway. I've met some very unhappy rich people.

Money can't buy you happiness, but it allows you to pick your preferred type of unhappiness.

It's true, money only enhances the ass hole holding it.
Like alcohol, it too enhances the ass hole consuming it.

I've been it both shoes, those of dirt poor and the wealthy, I must admit, I was happier when I was dirt poor.
You realize it can only get better when you have nothing, but when you're wealthy, you wonder why you aren't happier with all the crap you've acquired.

Nope, money does not bring happiness, it just allows you to be more comfortable in your misery.

The main point is, who are the Liberals to decide whether or not anyone deserves what they have?

Isn't that being just a tad j-u-d-g-m-e-n-t-a-l?

By now you should have figured out that Liberals feel that they have a right to be j-u-d-g-m-e-n-t-a-l because they are MORALLY SUPERIOR!

That's just it. In fact, our president even felt he deserved Greek Collumns reminiscent of a Homeric hero.

I'm guessing that most rich people deserve their wealth. Some may become wealthy through inheritance or sheer luck (Megabucks jackpot!), but that's okay.

For me, as long as someone achieves their wealth honestly (i.e. legally), more power to him!

God wants us to be happy and appreciative of what we have. I'm content with what I have. In most cases, people who begrudge the rich are simply being envious and bitter.
