USA taxpayers paying to rebuild mosques in the middle east

tbone0106

Shoot, this doesn't even surprise me! It should go without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that we've got no business providing internet service to a single soul outside US borders unless and until every person WITHIN our borders has the same.

But hey, it's our history, ain't it? During WWII we were allies with Josef Stalin's USSR, a brutal dictator and a ruthless regime dedicated in so many words to the utter destruction of the very socio-economic system that is the United States. After the war, the bloodiest, costliest war in human history, instigated primarily by two ruthless aggressor nations -- Germany and Japan -- the victorious United States couldn't rebuild (West) Germany and Japan fast enough!

We have government to force us to do as a nation the things that no sane, rational individual would ever do on his own.

It is actually reasons like the above which is why the international community dispises Americans. They view us as stupid people. Imagine that?

This is another good excuse why we should not give the government a penny more than it deserves on April 15th yearly.

Unfortunately, the government gets to decide for itself how much money it "deserves" from your pay. Thanks to FDR and the Democrats when they thought nobody was looking during WWII, the government doesn't have to wait for April 15 anyhow -- tax withholding insures a steady flow of our dollars to DC.

Never forget that taxation is the confiscation of wealth under threat of armed force.

You are right... as usual. However, I am working for self. I am going to find some loopholes then I will keep as much $ as possible.  :P

I'm not surprised. We've poured billions into infrastructure in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's got to include a pretty large number of mosques.
