It shocked me that such a miserably, hopelessly horrible candidate as Wendy Davis has somehow managed to capture 75% of the projected black vote. She's not even slightly black, actually rather Nordically blonde. Her signature issue isn't anything to do with race; it's abortion on demand. Hell, she's not even a life-long Democrat! She identified as a Republican and voted in Republican primaries for ten years (including 2006) and contributed money to George W. Bush's reelection campaign in 2004. She didn't identify as a Democrat (or run for state-wide office) until 2008. She has never even been in the running for the governor's chair, and her opponent has been polling at or above 50% consistently since the early spring. It doesn't help that she can't seem to keep her pink sneakers out of her mouth -- her campaign has been run by a large bunch of clowns in a small car, it would appear.

She polls favorably -- just barely -- with only two other groups. Those who NEVER attend church and those who claim Hispanic heritage lean her way by razor-thin margins. Even with her association with the premier womens' rights issue -- abortion -- Davis is behind with women in general.

Why is she leading with blacks 75-19?

I think in truth, what you are seeing is ignorance mixed with bias and apathy.
The upside to this, is lack of motivation, they have no reason to vote if it means more Obala policy of lies and failures.

I wouldn't characterize Ms. Nunn or any other Democrat as a "slave owner." More like a "vote owner." She doesn't use or abuse him for labor or to benefit financially from his work. She merely covets his vote. She wants nothing to do with him beyond that.

I think your metaphor was quite accurate. During slavery, there were free blacks amongst slaves, in fact, some were slave holders.
But what kept the slave on the plantation wasn't so much the threat of punishment, rather the fear of dying of starvation and exposure.
The slave had food shelter and friends, in other words, a community a safe place to exist, as shitty as it was, being a compliant slave meant safety.

More broadly, creating multiple identity/interest groups and inciting them against each other has been a modern-liberal, Progressive, Populist, and Marxist tactic for many decades. It's usually stated in oppressor vs. victim terms: capitalists-proletariat; management-workers; blacks-whites; Hispanics-Anglos; women-men; GLBT-straights.

The Ds have been using this tactic and exploiting the sides they claim to favor and benefit for decades.

Yes indeed! A very good point.
A fine balance that seems to be a bit off kilter under the Marxist due to raising the status of one victim over that of the other, as seen by opening the borders to illegals while ignoring the plight of their favorite victim, the black man.

So black people are massively in favor of a Sanger clone, the person who wanted to get rid of black people through abortion.

I can't even discuss this, without sounding racist.

Whether it made any kind of dent, remains to be seen.
