Title: Dimocrat Debate
Post by: walkstall on October 13, 2015, 12:10:53 PM
Is that tonight??  If so I take it Vice President Joe Biden will not be there as he is not running as of yet.

From what I have heard it is going to be a totally "softball" approach by the moderators. Bernie and Hillary also have supposedly agreed to go soft. What a farce.

CNN host Anderson Cooper, who is set to moderate tonight's Democratic debate, was listed as a "notable past member" the Clinton Global Initiative's website along with a number of other big name journalists:

The list includes: CNN's Anderson Cooper and Christiane Amanpour, Fox's Greta Van Susteren, NBC's Matt Lauer and Tom Brokaw, New York Times's Thomas Friedman and Nicholas Kristof, Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo, Yahoo's Katie Couric, The Economist's Matthew Bishop, and Financial Times' Lionel Barber.

OK - here we go, no tough questions, everyone agreeing with each other, the Republicans are evil (Jeb is OK with them).

Now that we got the usual out-of-the-way, we need to lay the ground rules for debate watchers.   B.S. Bingo?  Drinking game?

1 Point - Phrases we expect to hear: "War against women"; "Equal Pay for Women"; "Global Warming"; "Climate Change"; "Racist"; "Keystone"; "Gun Control"; "Background Check"; "Gunshow Loophole"; "Pro-Choice"; "Pay Inequity"; "Right Wing"; "Extremist"; "Koch Brothers"; "Joe Biden"; "Against the Iraq War"; "For the Children"; "Sided with the Republicans"; "Right Direction"; "Continuing Our Successes"; "I am the Best Choice"; "Tax the Rich"; "Unions"; "Anti-Family Amnesty"; "Donald Trump"; "Gay Union"; "Unelectable"; "Top Marginal Rate"; "Wealth Tax"; "Path to Citizenship";

3 Points - Bonus Phrases:  "Progressive"; "Liberal"; "Socialist"; "Nazi"; "Black Lives Matter"; "Defense of Marriage Act"; "Liar"; "Untrustworthy"; "Foreign Money Donations"; "Golfing"; "School Meals (or lunch)"; "Pacific Trade Agreement"; "Fact Check"; "Recession"; "Job Growth"; "Jobless Recovery"; "Rush Limbaugh"; "Capitalism"; "Ethical Issues"; "Respecting Individual Rights";

5 Points - Super Bonus Phrases: (real shocker if mentioned): "Serial Sex Offender"; "Bimbo Eruption"; "Mismanaged Economy"; "Build the Fence"; "Dog Eating"; "Bush was Right..."; "Tax Cut"; "Media Bias"; "18 Trillion Dollar Debt"; "Rescind Executive Order";  "What Difference Does it Make"; "Regressive Tax"; "Carly Forina"; "Robotic"; "Ben Carson"; "Wasteful Government Spending"; "Property Rights"

I don't know why these people are calling it a "debate" this is going to be a reaffirmation of the socialist agenda of the last 7 years and who among them can best follow in the footsteps of Obamao continuing the fundamental change of the USA from a world power to a third rate bankrupt marxist hell hole. Pretty much their campaigns are all a reflection of each other, high taxes, a nuclear Iran, unchecked illegal immigration etc etc ad naseum.

BUT I might tune in to watch in hopes that Madame Le Farge will have a purple faced eye popping screaming melt down right there in front of God and everybody, or Bernie soils his depends and wanders off backstage like an Alzheimers patient and is found sleeping with his head in a urinal Or Maybe O'Malley looses it and declares the entire State of Maryland a gun free zone in which every sworn Police officer will be indicted for something or other.

Seems like there's zero buzz happening about it, other than the buzz about there not being an aura of ratings expectations.

I may comment-stream here as it happens... or not.  CNN's presentation may be too awful to allow for satire.  An elite smugfest.

Ann Coulter on Twitter, or somebody like that, might be a haven to catch debate-snippets if the telecast is unwatchable.  -Because Cruz won't be streaming there, that I can discover.  Only Cruz-supporters like ConservativeChick;

Conservative are even more racist, yes or no?

Too easy for them.   They'd need buttons like a game show, Jeopardy, to spice it up.

For $100: "The most racist political party ...."  ding, ding, ding!
Bernie for $100 ... "Who is the KKK..?  beep-beep
Hillary for $100 ... "Who is the The GOP?"  DING!

For $200: "This candidate called a gay, fat slob ..."   ding, ding, ding!
Hillary for $200 ... "Who is Donald Trump"!  DING!

Are they going to stream this live, or does it need to be "cleansed and re-spun" by media pundants first?

What an ironic dichotomy.

1 pointer = a sip of beer / wine
2 pointer = half the glass
3 pointer = whole glass

Yeah, by the end of the night, none of it will make any more sense than before they started.

1 Point - Phrases we expect to hear: "War against women"; "Equal Pay for Women"; "Global Warming"; "Climate Change"; "Racist"; "Keystone"; "Gun Control"; "Background Check"; "Gunshow Loophole"; "Pro-Choice"; "Pay Inequity"; "Right Wing"; "Extremist"; "Koch Brothers"; "Joe Biden"; "Against the Iraq War"; "For the Children"; "Sided with the Republicans"; "Right Direction"; "Continuing Our Successes"; "I am the Best Choice"; "Tax the Rich"; "Unions"; "Anti-Family Amnesty"; "Donald Trump"; "Gay Union"; "Unelectable"; "Top Marginal Rate"; "Wealth Tax"; "Path to Citizenship"; "Inclusive"; "Inclusiveness"; "indigenous peoples";

I still believe she's the scapegoat for failed Marxist policy.
When all is said and done, the left will blame her scandals over their inability to secure the WH, when in truth, it was their surge left that sank their boat, but the truth is not what they want their constituency to hear. They need an excuse and she fits the bill.

I doubt it'll go that far, the left hasn't learned anything yet, they're still trying to fine-tune a system that hasn't worked anywhere.
If she still has all this cash from unknown sources... and investment... heh...  would those sources allow her to drop out?   Would Bill allow her to drop out?   Aren't the Clintons obsessed with money and power - even at their age, would they go quietly?

All that matters is we WILL win in 2016!  Their goose is cooked.  It apparently isn't even entertaining enough for people to watch their demise in this campaign cycle.  Interest level is at an all time low in the democratic party.

Either that or it is a continuation of the reverse is true. Some say Biden is the real President.

More free day care. Shameless pandering.

Nah, that would be Valerie Jarrett.

Obama feels like he is now capable of replacing Jarrett as puppet master.   :biggrin:

He cannot bear the thought of losing power!

He sort of reminds me of Yogi Bear (the cartoon voice).

I gotta hear him say 'pik-a-nik basket' to seal the deal.

The guy really is dwelling in the realm of the absurd.  He honeymooned in the Soviet Union??  The last noteworthy honeymoon there gave us the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.

QuoteCNN's Tuesday night debate averaged 15.3 million viewers, easily making it the highest-rated Democratic debate ever.

Primary debates at this point in past election cycles have averaged 2 to 5 million viewers. But there's something special about this election -- something that has a lot more viewers paying attention.

Heading into Tuesday night, there was unanimous agreement that the total audience would be lower than the 25 million who tuned in for Fox's Republican debate on August 6. That debate -- fueled by Donald Trump -- shattered all previous primary debate records.

The Republican rematch on CNN September 16 averaged more than 23 million viewers, essentially confirming that the GOP debates are the highest-rated new "show" of the fall TV season.

CNN executives expected the ratings would be far lower on Tuesday night. They cautioned ahead of time that Republican and Democratic debates were "apples and oranges."

So the 15.3 million total far exceeded expectations, even though it was much lower than the GOP face-offs.

I don't care how they spin it! The Bernie Hillary show had 10 million fewer viewers then the republican debates! That in it's self is telling!
I am glad to say I am not one of their 15.3 million! Bernie and Hillary have nothing I would want to hear that I won't get from the news! :popcorn: :popcorn:

Me too!  I knew I would get all the highlights the following day on the news.

I watched a movie!   :popcorn:

Just by the numbers the Republicans are drawing more interest. You would figure with all the hype they would of had a much larger viewership. I can't wait to see if Hillary's bump is really a bump! If she remains flat in her standing next week will kill her at the Benghazi hearings! Try as they will to pump life back into her I think she's toast!  :popcorn: :popcorn:

I suspect a large number of the viewers last night were actually Republicans.  We are the ones most interested in the 2016 election!  Some among us were actually strong enough to endure the punishment of watching!   :ohmy:

Good idea to watch....KNOW YOUR ENEMY...study him, hear him speak, watch his body language, look for clues that show his weakness and insecurities in certain areas.

I learned a lot by watching those buffoons last night.

I've watched Hillary for 30 years! She is the same now as she was when Bill first run for office! There was nothing going to happen last night that I couldn't find out with a 15 minute surf the following day! Did she say anything new besides her tired talking points?
I knew she would be polished and on the money because you know she was fed the main questions prior to the debate to prepare! It was on the Clinton Network News station! I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary herself didn't supply the question to them! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've had the misfortune to be on some of the security details when there was a Presidential movement in DC and had Bill or Hillary pass close by, I swear she has the coldest eyes I've ever seen on a woman.  She just exudes nasty

I totally agree.  And by doing that, you'll develop a sense of when to ignore them.  -Like in softball interviews and speeches on 'enemy formats' as well.

Interesting that you mention the word enemy...that was the gist of Hillary and Bernies platform, Republicans who control the House and Senate are enemies to be vanquished, Bernie plans on mobilizing millions and hold them 'responsible" probably in the traditional commie manner (see Khmer rouge) if they dont bend to his will as Prez.

So up front they are saying they are considering Pub Congress an enemy who'd better not oppose anything they want to implement, just like Obama. No 'reaching across the aisle' no compromise....no, you are the enemy and we have to "fight" for the poor the Middle class blah blah blah.

No wonder nothing is getting done in congress, no amiacability no compromise, DO IT BECAUSE I SAY...this is truly the attitude that a dictator has.

The democrats have never in my lifetime been compromisers.  It has always been the GOP that gives over to their demands.  That is why the Country has moved steadily left.

It has only been since the GOP voters have demanded they quit giving in to the demands of the Left that there has been gridlock on the Hill.  Of course, it is billed as the fault of the Republicans.  Those evil Republicans refuse to cross the aisle.    :rolleyes:

The ONLY way anything gets done is when the GOP yields to the democrats!

Kasich has an ad out about political enemies.

During the debate, Hillary was asked; "you've all made a few people upset about your political careers, which enemy are you most proud of?"

Hillary answered "probably the Republicans"......she was applauded by the audience.

Yeah, I drank a lot listening to those buffoons - their jokes just kept me rolling on the floor in laughter!
(not really, I started nodding off, turned the radio off and went to bed)

They just want power and wealth, saying anything the dumb masses will swallow.  No talk of liberty ever crosses their lips.

Liberty is a dirty word among liberals!  That is the opposite of what they want.

The Stone book is out and the author is on the circuit.  Mostly a review of the things we have head informally about the Bush and Clinton organizations, only this time the author says, in so many words, here are the allegations, sue me if you think I made all this up. The hot items, naturally, are about the sex lives. But, the real significance lies in the allegations of other illegal activity.
