"On MSNBC this afternoon, Sandra Fluke truly outdid herself, attempting to argue that the people who disagree with the contraception mandate on religious freedom grounds are in the same category as people who oppose insurance coverage for leukemia."

"Fluke attended Georgetown Law, but it's not clear that she's particularly skilled at her craft: she's not making a terribly logical argument, and it's based on a false comparison anyway. Contraception is "preventative care," in that it's intended to head off a pregnancy, which--although at times inconvenient for the couple in question--is not a disease at all, but instead the result of a decision to have sex. Leukemia is cancer, a life-threatening illness, which requires prohibitively expensive treatment and most decidedly does not result from a decision about how to conduct one's romantic relationship."

Just to part of what you said some of these sicko libs DO think of PREGNANCY as a DISEASE which is why they are OK with killing it. They have no rational thought process.

Then to compare it to Leukemia...no one chooses to get cancer.  Just when you think "they" have hit a new low...

But it's all about THEM and THEIR problem. I said they aren't rational. They think a kid is a life long problem so eliminate it.
You are right it's a new low just to think such a thing.

I hear you but the odd thing is...I'm not the least bit surprised.

So now if an employer gives you something and it does not include something that you want but they find offensive, you are being denied it.   To me denied is something that you have a right to, yet it is being withheld. I being the capitalist dog that I am think that as an employer you do not have a right to my money.  If the wages and benefits I provide do not match what you have to have, well go sell your services elsewhere.

One more sad example of a growing sense of entitlement by many people in this country.  They think they deserve something and have no duty to work at a level that would support the wage and benefits they say you have to give them.

I am having a hard time figuring out which religious group is opposed to Leukemia or I guess the drugs to treat it.  I just do not see a connection and also wonder at the quality of education if this is argument you put out there to defend another idiotic position.

Of course her previous point of view that she likes to get laid so it is the responsibility of society to provide her with FREE birth control.   MSM once again carry the water for even the dumbest of the dumb.
