Trump will probably give some lame reason why he can't 'debate' the issues. 

The Trumpists will just say there has been enough debates and there is no point in it.

Truth is, Cruz's numbers continue to grow while only Donnie's negatives increase, or they wouldn't have floated that nonsense about him acting more Presidential.

Yeah, they thought they could dress him Presidential and trick the people, but you can't take a thug out of the hood and make him respectable.
Now Manfart's in trouble, Lewindowski' is back in and they're going back to square one in hopes of recapturing some of that lost energy.
For them to try and rebuild his campaign this late in the game exposes one thing, total failure, a collapse in his numbers.

Look back at the polls where Cruz won and tell me they were even a little bit close.
