Why, aside from a 50+ year indoctrination from TV, movies and reading, I am absolutely stunned that Newark and corruption would ever be linked together.....

I was once stranded at Newark Airport in a snowstorm.  It is an experience I do not care to repeat.  As for Continental Airlines, which I believe is headquartered in Newark, I will not even use the word "Continental" in casual conversation.
