About thirteen minutes long and worth it. The man just continues to amaze me.

He may actually be modest. It's a rare virtue these days and nowhere rarer then in the political arena but there's really no other explanation for Christie's actions.

He may actually believe in sticking with commitments.

He told Chris Wallace he's not interested in running for president because he made a commitment to the voters of New Jersey and he plans to see that commitment through. Christie actually believes that a candidate who runs for the presidency ought to have some claim to sufficient experience to do the job before he applies for the job. Obviously, President Obama doesn't qualify under that stringent limitation and I don't know if that was a knock on Obama or Christie just making his beliefs clear.

Anyhow, typical, fun Christie.

I am about done with this PC crap.  I can't believe Wallace actually even gives validity to this "civility" crap that has been catching like wildfire, using the Governor's town hall as an example of uncivility, as if it was even remotely the case.

Christie is way better than I am, because I couldn't hold still for 2 seconds of that interview without launching into a tirade.

That's not the way I read Wallace's questions. It seems to me that the questions about "civility" were more in terms of what some people were throwing at Christie. Wallace just gave Christie an opportunity to respond.

Maybe I'm an optimist but I believe most folks without a chip on their left shoulder will respond as I did - amazement, admiration and the sincere wish that a lot of incumbent politicians are watching Christie and paying attention.

I wonder why they haven't started.
