When the NYPD officers were being assaulted and killed by the Black Liberation Army....the NYPD still recruited Black officers.

When the City was being bombed by the FALN...the NYPD still recruited Puerto Ricans. 

When the towers were attacked...the NYPD still recruited Muslims.  One of my friends is a Muslim who just returned from a long tour in an Islamic nation gathering intelligence for the NYPD.

The NYPD has Muslim undercover officers.

It cuts both ways.
