Rot Roh...Obama is stinking mighty fast. This tuesday should be very interesting. I hear the thunder roaring, could there be a landslide come tuesday. Obama not even your own state newspaper wants you. Oh boy.

On Sunday, the Chicago Daily Herald, the second largest daily newspaper in metropolitan Chicago, endorsed Mitt Romney for President in 2012. In 2008, the Daily Herald endorsed hometown Senator Barack Obama for President:


In endorsing Illinois' favorite son in 2008, we declared Obama "has a chance to be a great president." We said, "He offers a new kind of politics. A politics that breaks down the old partisan walls. A politics that strives to bring people together. A politics of hope."...

But four years later, where is the hope? Where is the confident swagger and leadership to uplift the nation's mood?...

Wow!  I hope that the editor has a security force.  Chicago is well known for it's corruption.

So what you have is newsprint seeing an opening to become relevant again.  They are trying to build a new customer base.

Exactly!!  And in reality, it will work!  I totally don't mind a paper with libs as long as they have some conservatives in their, and aren't blatantly blacking out important news that favors the libs.  If a paper is liberal, but is REPORTING on Benghazi and the facts, etc., then I'm OK with them.  When the facts get slanted, I reject the paper as a source and can't take it seriously.
