Never fail to thank those whose words of support meant so much during the times the two books were being written. You are the best, squire. May you outlive us all.

Any chance you dedicated your latest one to Ricky?

No. Thus far it's been family members.

Speaking of Darwhiner, he claimed over at LNF that he'd already read an early draft of the book, and added I had given a copy to Lin during one of the two vacations my wife and I went on with her (including our honeymoon).

Separately, when I challenged him to the June 30 Deadline for writing, editing and publishing his own E-book, he specifically said he would not compete against someone who had worked on a book for years.

It's a process. Patience and time are required, and for Ricky, time just flat ran out.

Well, if you insist, the answer is --- no.

It's a revenge story and three-way battle of wits between an unwilling recruit and the old man seeking vengeance against a fellow spy who betrayed him during WII. Both have reason to fear an unusually lucky local detective following clues much too effectively for comfort.
Good on you, quiller.

So, you're a mystery writer, eh?  Explain the liberal mentality to us, please.

Some mysteries are simply unsolvable, then again, some we don't want to know the answer.

Presently, yes. I used to be a journalist, but I'm in recovery.

Shamelessly bumped to thank the person who saw this thread and bought a copy of Lunden's Game.
