Carson effectively silenced his critics on "The View". Very impressive!

That was really great. I can't stand those women on The View. The way that Joy person speaks grates on my nerves badly. Whoopi Goldberg is an idiot. I don't watch that show and don't even know who those other women were, but one of them had a very strange hairdo.

I agree, k... impressive performance. He had to lower his IQ down to where they're dwelling, which isn't easy. He conveyed knowledge. They couldn't. All they could pose were pseudo-hypocritical
twists of yarn. No wonder that show's down the toidy...

They were SO out of their league when they invited Carson!!!
WTF is that next to Mr. Carson? And no I don't mean Joy Behar's nose either.
I wished we could know what he really want to say to those women.
he did get a little flustered when he said "that's a bunch of crap".
Right around 1:40 WHoopi was talking over Ben and some idiot hooted off stage....she turned about to sush them....I couldn't get what was being said that prompted such idiocy though I played it several times.....
Anyhow Ben gave some perfect answers to this hyeena pit of brain deads.
Dr. Ben Carson deserves a "'coon of the year' award," says a tweet from Anthea Butler, a University of Pennsylvania religious-studies professor and a frequent MSNBC guest.
Butler's revealing invective was in response to a tweet from Daily Beast editor-at-large Goldie Taylor. That tweet highlighted a Sports Illustrated article in which Carson championed Americans' right to fly flags — including the Confederate flag — that other Americans see as a symbol of hate.
Bulter, whose Twitter account is locked, apparently deleted the tweet attacking Dr. Carson. But not before someone captured a screen grab of it:

Why on earth would they have someone like her in religious studies?
After the Zimmerman verdict, she said the American God was not her God, that he was a white racist God. Sick.

Because they want to destroy religion in this Country. The best way to do it is to screw up the minds of young people!

Wow. When they had the chance they didn't have any questions. He shut up 4 catty liberals.
What happened to that one persons hair? Was she in an accident?
I like Ben Carson. I think he would make a good VP! He lacks in too many areas, IMO.
I completely agree with the dependency issue!
It reminds me of home ownership. It used to be a goal, now it seems like a birth right.
Whats bad is, all those a-holes that are preaching about inequality(Clinton FED) wasn't saying anything when poor people were getting homes they couldn't afford! Now look!

I noticed that also, kit. I was disappointed that Carson did not correct her. But I guess that wasn't his focus!
Ben Carson has been a Republican for less than a year.

I wish someone would ask him if he ever voted for Obama!?

It was all I could do to watch this because, as usual, Whoopi had to try to drown out his replies.
Further, I find it sad that the network would pit her against anyone reasonably intelligent. I read an article years ago that she had a very defined learning disability but somehow got the help she needed to function in society. Not sure what the article was but it was along the time that she was in the movie Color Purple. The article suggested that her character in the movie didn't miss her true self by alot.
Carson is really good guy. Sad to know he's not gonna become our next president!

So the articulate black guy that registered as a Pub just before he gave a speech at the national Prayer breakfast sponsored by the Establishment, a guy with zero experience beyond a hospital setting bursts onto the scene, reads a prepared speech, and you're ready to vote for him because he's a "really Good guy?"

Carson says he never prepares a speech. He speaks from his heart.
He is not the only candidate that does not prepare a speech. Rick Santorum does not.
When you listen to someone speak from the heart you definitely recognize a difference.
I suspect Carson's non speech style is responsible for much of his popularity.

And you believe this why?
Because he doesn't use a teleprompter or notes.
He has a general idea of what he wants to say before he takes the podium, but he does not have a prepared text.
At the prayer breakfast where he spoke with Obama at the table beside him, he was asked by the Administration to provide a text of his speech before the event. He said, "I don't have a speech. I speak extemporaneously. I speak from my heart."
It has gotten him in trouble a few times but the people seemed to forgive any perceived error because he comes across as trustworthy. The same can be said for Trump. He shoots from the hip. People like that. It looks authentic.
However, I stand with Cruz! He also speaks from the heart with no notes or teleprompter.
Those who have a stump speech aren't fairing so well in the polls.

That would be a lie, everyone prepares for a speech, everyone! Only a fool would blindly walk onto a stage unprepared.

Solar, you misquoted me!!!
I did not say Carson does not prepare FOR a speech. I said he has said that he doesn't prepare a speech. There is no written speech.
Preparing FOR a speech is a totally different thing and I think you know it.

Go back and look! I said Carson says he "never prepares a speech."
Preparing FOR a speech would be gathering his thoughts and deciding which key things he wants to communicate. That does NOT constitute "preparing a speech." He has no specific written text. Apparently he is good at organizing his thoughts in a coherent way. He probably has four or five things he wants to communicate and he does it extemporaneously.
Why do you have such a hard time believing that?
Do you really think Trump prepares his speeches? I don't.
He just talks about things that he thinks are important for the voters to know.
And he is no fool!

OMG Kroz, this is politics, wake up!
These people lie for a living, and Carson is no different than the rest. Maybe not as corrupt, but he, like everyone else is beholden to someone, and before you invoke Cruz, he has proven he is beholden to his constituency.
Carson on the other hand is beholden to a bunch of rich guys, just like all the other RINO.
You can be assured Carson runs all his talking points by someone before he makes a speech. Yes, he needs to be sure he is on the same page as they are.
