Oh my great point.  If you look at the GOP field you can see cabinet post after post.  Carson SG or SecHHS, Christie AG, Trump SecCommerce..it goes on.  However, we have to get Cruz as POTUS!

Christie AG.

Sure.  That is where he made his mark as a lawyer.  I am speaking only in terms of those running though.  I know there are better out there.

Cabinet Posts?   Quite frankly - I'm ready to start with HALF the government departments GOING AWAY!!!

Sorry Chris Christie, we don't have an AG post anymore, that authority rests with the States, not in DC.
Secretary of Agriculture?   Secretary of Health & Human Services?

Heck, just add a Secretary of Political Correctness, let all the Libs flock into that department and disband it.
Change the Secretary of Defense to Secretary of War & strip all the rules of engagement.

I like Dr. Carson.  I think he is a fine man, a man of integrity.  But his life experience doesn't qualify him to be President.

Ben Carson has said too many things that have been spun to make him sound crazy.  I think that's the real reason he is losing support.  As much as people don't like "politicians", the words you choose when applying for the job of president (if you're Republican) require precision or the media will rip you apart.  Of course, Trump doesn't talk with precision, but for whatever reason media attacks help him.

Hopefully Carson's support will go to Cruz who has proven to be much sharper in the debates and interviews.

Carson did say some pretty ignorant things, like banning assault weapons only in cities, that really pissed off the base.
But you're right, they did attack him for Conservative policy, which is what leftists do.

They've handled him with babywipes. Think back to the treatment Palin recieved by comprison.
The media has propped trump up.

Me too, but it will go a long way if Carson supports Cruz when he bows out, and I believe he just might.

I guess that's probably true I haven't watched enough left wing media to compare how they're treating him.  But they see him as the least electable so it would make sense that they want him as the candidate.

It's coming to an end. Iowa should clear the field. Aside from Jebbers. He's going down flailing.Or should I say failing...

Dr. Carson raised more money than Sen. Cruz in the 4th quarter -
$23 million vs. $20 million.
But the voters are shifting over to Cruz.
Maybe Dr. Carson should just go with them.
I suppose he probably will, after Iowa, I would think.
I hope he doesn't blow all the money, first!

Yes, but 90 cents of every dollar fuels Carson's fund raising.  If he brought in $100mm off $99mm, then Cruz still raised more.  Carson's burn rate is catching up quick.

His burn rate is larger than Bush's. His campaign is on its last legs.

Carson for President?  Not so much for me.  A great voice for the moral majority, yes.  I just have not heard the encouragement from him that I needed to hear that would insure me that he would be our first choice for president.  So far, Cruz has been the only candidate that puts it on the line as to what true conservatives expect out of their first choice for the next president.

I started out supported Dr Carson, really really like the man but as time has went on realized he isn't ready for the job. He would make an awesome SG tho...

I believe the man has an honesty streak a mile wide, and as proved by his being a pediatric neurosurgeon, immensely intelligent...and probably beats all other candidates in both areas. I do, however, agree that he is not ready for the position as POTUS.
One more liberal President in 2016 will mean the irreversible, eventual and total demise of our democracy. The rise and fall of democracy IS past the "apathy stage" at this moment. If this  momentum continues on its present path, restoration of democracy will require the least desired of actions.

He is better than Trump, though.  You have to give him that.
