I saw this during the Sunday night game.  It really pissed me off.  It is pieces of liberal crap like this that are destroying the country.

I was thinking about posting something on this but was too lazy yesterday.

Costas got the whole thing wrong.

The USA isn't violent because of guns, the USA is just a violent place because ironically, professional athlete's like this drugged out idiot
help prepetuate the culture of violence thru contact sports and their extravagant lifesyle....drugs, women, booze gambling and the hip hop culture which foster said violence.

How many cases do we have of some pro like Mike Tyson raping some
little beauty queen, punching out a motorist, some other celebrity athlete
punching out or raping some woman, drunk driving etc etc etc.

Costas needs to get real and stop blaming guns and have these "role models" sraighten their act out.

Headlines: Hundreds maimed and killed by the actions of a fool with a truck Hell bent on crashing her ex boyfriends wedding in an attempt to kill him.

Hundreds killed when a bomb went off at at a funeral where a gang member was being eulogized.
Police are warning people in a 20 square mile to stay in their homes because of possible reprisal.

Sounds like a lib Utopia to me.....

In your own way you're just as bad as Costas. You take behavior by an INDIVIDUAL, and want to spread the guilt over a group of like individuals. Only difference is Costas wants to blame gun owners, and you want to blame football players. The individual is responsible for their behavior - good or bad - not any particular group that individual happens to belong to.

I'm going to touch on another subject and I know how you feel about it and I don't want to get invloved in another drug debate but I have to mention it here as it is pertinent.

Professional athletes by and large engage in "performance enhancing" drugs...In my weightlifting days it was steroids, nowadays it's pain killers, cocaine and other recreational drugs. Now based on experience I can surmise how many athletes engage in drug use either for performance, "pain issues" or recreation but once again these ROLE MODEL's are known for their substance abuse. AND DRUGS IMPAIR ONES JUDGEMENT AND IMPACT DEMEANOR.

Couple all this together and you have a perfect storm for someone who is so trained, so encouraged to perpetrate acts of violence, so clouded by drug abuse mayhem...with or without a firearm...Mayhem results.

Now of course Costa's, being a jerk, isn't going to lay any reponsibility on what amounts to his bread and butter, however if I was in a room  with him I'd throw those aforementioned FACTS in his face

Now if it makes you happy I suppose I shall have to publish a disclaimer and say that not all Athletes are "bad" and not all of them are involved in substance abuse.

I think we are forgetting the fact that 99% of athletes, regardless of whether or not they use so-called performance enhancing drugs or pain killers or what have you, don't go around murdering their girlfriends and then commiting suicide in front of their coaches.

However the ones that do such things are almost universally black and come from the inner cities. They often come from single parent homes and are exposed to all sorts of racist (anti-white) rhetoric in various different forms - from what they hear in churches such as the Trinity United (former home of Jeremiah Wright and his padewan Barrack Hussein Obama) to the music they listen to (and I use the term "music" loosely) to what they hear from their political leader like Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson Jr, and Al Sharpeton et al - all of which preach a "Hate Whitey" dogma 24/7/365.

Combine that with sports programs which put the only emphasis on performance on the field and, yes, you are setting up these young men for a mighty big fall! I am just amazed that there are not more of these kind of incidents!

I wish I could remember what movie it was but there was a scene where this aspiring young black basketball player (I think) was hoping to go pro some day. He was asked about his future and he said, "The first thing an NBA rookie gets is a white woman and a Cadillac".

To me, that is the problem in a nutshell.

So the phuck what, if football players, or MMA fighters, or Boxers make a living knocking other human beings down, the majority of them aren't murdering their girlfriends. That's the point!
