Boehner Set to Rip Obama for Calling Conservatives 'Enemies'

President Barack Obama has made House Republican Leader John Boehner's enemies list. Well, although the term seems harsh, it's just that word that riled the Ohio Republican up enough to take the president to task at an election rally tonight for calling conservatives "enemies" during an interview with Univision radio, Politico reports. During the Univision interview, Obama said, "If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us' — if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election — then I think it's going to be harder."

In remarks prepared for delivery at the rally in Cincinnati, Boehner is scripted to say: "We have a president in the White House who referred to Americans who disagree with him as 'our enemies.' Think about that. He actually used that word. When Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush used the word 'enemy,' they reserved it for global terrorists and foreign dictators — enemies of the United States. Today, sadly, we have a president who uses the word 'enemy' for fellow Americans — fellow citizens."

Boehner will be speaking at the rally in support of Rob Portman, the GOP nominee for Senate in Ohio, and John Kasich, the GOP nominee for Ohio governor.


Boehner will get a peice of his ass for those statements. What a great way for bambi to start his relationship with his new congress, set the battle line before they even take office. These next 2 years are going to be fun!!
