It really doesn't matter if I am for or against Super PACs. I can't take a stand that tells others how they can use their money to support their politics, church, their bridge club activities or anything else.

I hate the US Chamber of Commerce to the point that if they were all in a  building that blew up then I would be smiling, but I would never propose they be specifically banned.
Unions do the same thing as Super Pacs and the Democrats never complained. Unions are just a form of non-profit corporation. They are groups of people with a shared goal. It is up to individuals that disagree with them to form their opposition groups.
In the case of the US Chamber of Commerce which supports imports and illegal workers we have the NFIB watching out for American businesses and jobs for Americans..

Democrats want to force us into paying for what their idea of insurance but they could simply form their own group with their 60 million followers and agree to share all the costs, reject no one and cover everything. They could make up a name for it like "AN INSURANCE COMPANY". Then they could do a college sharing tuition club.

Politicians do not like Super PACs because they allow groups of people to make demands and politicians would rather not let the people be heard.

Here's what Joe supports:

I have a feeling the author of the OP has a clue what Bernie actually advocates for.

Well, @taxed, a few months ago Sanders did a Town Hall on Fox News. Maybe you'll hear some answers to your tough questions about him

I think in this country of politicians like Harris, Hillary, Biden, Bloomberg, etc... that people are looking to someone that has a firm and unchanging message. The right has Trump and the left has Bernie. The difference this time is they actually had time to understand what he is proposing. This time he does not stand a chance of winning the primary.
I would not vote for the guy for dog catcher but he is an interesting personality and seems to be honest in a "I am going to take everything you have" kinda way.

How specifically will he do that? Aside from getting rid of citizen's United.

Someone asked this earlier and I posted it directly from his site.

QuoteKey Points

Ban all corporate contributions to the Democratic Party Convention and all related committees, and as President he would be ban all corporate donations for inaugural events and cap individual donations at $500.

Abolish the now-worthless FEC and replace it with the Federal Election Administration, a true law enforcement agency originally proposed by former Senators John McCain and Russ Feingold.
Enacting mandatory public financing laws for all federal elections.

Updating and strengthen the Federal Election Campaign Act to return to a system of mandatory public funding for National Party Conventions.

Passing a Constitutional Amendment that makes clear that money is not speech and corporations are not people.

You do realize, for ol Bernie to accomplish this, he'd have to be a dictator, Right?

Not at all. For Bernie to get elected the Dems would probably need a great turnout. They may wrest some Congressional power in order to make this happen.

Who knows, though, and who cares. It's too early to know.

I know that I like the position getting money out of politics. If Donald does it, great. If a Democrat does it, great.

Bernie couldn't win if there was no money in politics.  How do you think he became a millionaire with a few lake houses?
