You're not alone, Assad may be an evil dictator, but in that part of the world, an iron fist gets all the respect, people like Obozo are seen as weak girlymen, as seen in the pic of him riding a girls bike with a girls helmet on.

Assad has my support as well.

I heard an caller on Hannity's radio program yesterday. She said she was a Syrian Christian and while Assad may not be perfect, the Christians are glad he's there. They have relative peace with him in power and their greatest fear is if he's removed. She said we are being lied to by this government.

The truth may be somewhere in the middle, but it verifies what I've thought about both Egypt and Syria. Obama is now doing Jimmy Carter's 3rd term. They both force out secular dictators and allow Radical Muslims to take control of the country. Jimmy Carter created, and left us with Iran. Obama's finishing the job.
